We still have unknowns at LT and LG after all the signings and picks we've used on the line. Christensen is still an unknown long term thanks to his injury, Icky is a unknown/needing to recover from a sophomore slump (or be capable of effectively sliding over) and Zavala looked downright bad. Mays has been up and very down. Also think we need center insurance. Bozeman had crap on either side of him, but he was pretty damn bad. He had a great 2022, and was a middle-of-the-pack center in BAL so it's still kind of up in the air if last year was scheme or an abberation. I can't say either with enough certainty. I'd prioritize: 1. 1 multi-year FA signing 2. 1 minimum draft anywhere on the line 3. New heads through the UDFA and 1-year FAs rush to compete with the underperforming backups

I really wanted Kraft last draft. Think he could work out even better long term than the Musgrave family kid in GB. So many interesting TEs last year. I like that Ja'Tavion Sanders (not a ton) in this next draft but it's a pretty iffy class. -
Pretty confident its gonna be Dan Morgan GM

Yeah. I think it's time for a full flush. You look at our personnel dept...Cole Spencer, Jared Kirskey, Robert Haines are others that have been here, leading the college front since the 2021 draft. I won't pretend I know their true roles and how much sway they had, but Fitterer often referenced his team and how they became sold on guys during the process. He referenced a lot of team collab--it just needs some good ole' flushing. Jeff Morrow has also been there forever, as respected as he apparently is internally, his voice may be offering some shoddy advice. Team building was just too awful the past three seasons to give a single one of these guys the benefit of the doubt. Adrian Wilson-- league-wide respect and potential, he may be one that's okay to hold onto. -

To be more universally considered "great", sure. Eye check pass for me...those two for me are as legit as it comes, especially showing this much, this early. TEs are notorious to take time, and they're exceptions, who are excelling. Last year's TE class proved to be as hyped as they were. -

Oh well. The Bills defense was a big letdown this season. They absolutely need a better pass rush (Bralen Trice would be a good fit) and more on offense to be a SB contender. Diggs doesn't seem like the best fit anymore, Kincaid and Cook have been promising (part. Kincaid), but they just need more/it's not enough. Inconsistent on both sides of the ball. -

I mean, LaPorta had a historic rookie season. He's a stud. -

Great game. Random thought..kind of interesting that remaining team has a great TE on their squad. Kelce, Andrews, Kittle, LaPorta, Kincaid -

The simulated pressures are being perfectly timed. Macdonald is putting Slowik to rest right now. -

"Coping" is officially more tiresome than the "The Process" and "It is what it is" at this point.

Head Coach Preference - Round 2 (January 19, 2024)

Evero experiencing Denver 2 years ago and then the Panthers this past year, & cranking out two over-performing defenses is impressive. -
Head Coach Preference - Round 2 (January 19, 2024)

I’m sold on Macdonald - voted him for both. Canales would be next. I just have a feeling with that guy as a HC. I wouldn’t discount Slowik as unrealistic but can see him going back to Houston. But! If we follow Panthers’ suit, we’ll end up with the guy that no ones really passionately for or against - Brian Callahan -
Methinks we interviewed our future HC today. Mild prediction.

Unsure how many they'll widdle it down to, but I don't really care to see Brian J, Morris, Monken or Quinn have a 2nd. I will say, since we have a consultant, I wouldn't be surprised if Morris gets a 2nd as a guy to juxtapose the young ones to. Tabor..I mean, that was obvi courtesy lol. I will also say, I'm not riding the Frank Smith train for some reason. Can also see Slowik bowing out early if they pull off an upset this weekend, so he may focus on building something special in HOU. Otherwise, I'd hope Macdonald, Canales, Callahan (& maybe Evero) would be the lot. Ben Johnson seems to be a foregone conclusion he's our HC or bust so he doesn't warrant much extra thought at this point haha.

It has a few anonymous execs being interviewed about CJ vs. Bryce. A few are still towing the "it's everything around him line" and we gotta do more to make him better. Some are saying it's a combination of factors including Bryce, he wasn't posied but we didn't put him in a good situation. ...and a few others are on the we-made-a-mistake camp. See below: So it seems the lively debate here persists in the execs world. 2024 is going to tell us a lot about Bryce and the future of this team. This GM and Coaching hire becomes all the more critical. The article rounds out by mentioning the S2 leak fiasco and how certain execs didn't buy it because CJ obviously has a strong football IQ. Also says in a nutshell how you can't close the book just yet but we've created a bad situation. And that CJ has just been awesome.
