I'd imagine a lot of the concrete flatwork there has snowmelt but install on vertical surfaces and plastic seats is not something worth having with how shoddy that would be and no real proven products for that application, at that scale.

Yep-- I think a lot end up leaving. Can totally see Luvu signing with a contender, becoming a household name elsewhere. Chinn is good as gone per his end of season interview. Could also see Woods and/or Vonn wanting something else even though they're under contract Some willing casualties being Donte, Burns, & Shaq We'll basically have Brown (& maybe Horn) on defense with just Bryce on offense to build with.

That Texans team bloomed so quickly w/a young coordinator in Slowik with a young HC Ryans, it may feel very exciting for them to build a new powerhouse there. Can see the energy around staying and building a perennial SB contender with Stroud, Anderson, & company. That's a legacy (+more) type play to stay.

standing room only haha

I'm a fan of the options in the cycle and think we could hit with the coaching. My optimistic side (for next year): The coaching circus ends with this hire. We get a no shenanigans guy ready to build something legit. They figure out a workable dynamic between Tepper, management and coaching bc it's a no nonsense type of hire at GM and HC (Macdonald plz) They end up building an elite defense in short order We finally hit on a mid-round pick for the first time in forever-- a new snazzy pass rusher We also land a breakout RB that comes out of nowhere My pessimistic side: Bryce's performance next year will be a mixed bag with some bad and good that will heavily divide the fanbase going into 2025. It will feel like purgatory. Because of this, our WR room will still not feel right. Could see us landing a guy who's already a legit route runner like Worthy, McMillan or Corley who's the one promising WR on the team. The OL will still struggle -- not the worst but probably in that 20-25th ranking. I don't think Icky recovers, LT & LG re-emerge as big needs (again) Will probably manage a 4-6 win season with some stuff to be hopeful about but a lot of question marks. I anticipate a lot of new faces that aren't yet here becoming the new team core. Brown is the only guy here yet that would be in that group come 2025.

Well there's a good chance he's got Tepper's attention and that's all that matters haha

Excluding Ben Johnson...pecking order could be something like this: 1. Mike Macdonald 2. Bobby Slowik 3. Dave Canales 4. Promote Ejiro Evero 5A/B. Brian Callahan/Frank Smith (Don't know enough about and they don't call plays/unsure about them)

Bejeezus people, like, this is what you choose to magnify? One dude happy crying in the crowd..really? And to make fun of it? Steer this back to football please

Why anyone would want Quinn after ATL and then tonight is befuddling
-
Unreal how many rookies are making noise in the playoffs. Stroud, Nacua, LaPorta, Gibbs, Wicks, Musgrave, Kraft, WA Jr, Rice, it’s wild
-
This is reminiscent to when we trashed the Cards in the playoffs. No mercy full domination
-
McCarthy is as good as gone. Hell, I’m not so sure Dak is there next year at this rate haha

This is one of the ugliest #2 seed duds in history.

That non-horsecaller propelled that entire drive.

Big move for him to Miami. Could end up being one of the top guys in 2025.

Jordan Love has a Panthers full game passing performance before the first half 2 min warning
-
Go Pack Go chants in the first half in Dallas. Love it. Love is amazing
-
If DAL loses and fire McCarthy that changes this coaching carousel
-
Jones' celebration throw to that Pack fan was better than any Panthers' pass this season lol

Let’s see if GB can pull an upset

You don't need to be building relationships for that specific reason. He's been building relationships in the league for 12 years. Just as in any business, it's about establishing those connections when they present themselves because you never know when it comes back around as an opportunity. Ben Johnson for example, is quite tied in (for over a decade) with Sherman/Philben tree with guys like Dan Campbell and Zach Taylor. The late 2000s A&M and early 2010s Dolphins staff wasn't super successful, but that spawned some great offshoots as we see today. So, I don't think we should assume one's rolodex is thin just because of his role on a team. There was a great story about how Dan Campbell and Zac Taylor met at A&M and it was a lasting impression. And even further back, if Zac didn't pursue the gal he liked at Nebraska, he would've never married Mike Sherman's daughter, gotten that job at A&M, then Miami, eventually propelling him to Cincy. You never know where or where the bridges you build will take you, but best be making them at all times.

Thinking on it some more, something about Macdonald seems right to me. He coached the first defense in NFL history to win the defensive triple crown (point per game, sacks & takeaways). First in overall defense DVOA. Was at UGA for a few years to start his career. Has grinded in Baltimore for 7 years (with a successful detour for Jim at Michigan) Has both Harbaughs and a lot of the NFL thinking super highly of him. The dude also just commands that locker room. Seeing what Kyle Hamilton, Roquan, Queen, & Madubuike, have spoke to, he sounds like an excellent candidate. Also re: BAL - last cycle Breer reported we wanted to interview Matteo and were declined. We requested this time around and got an interview. Matteo & Macdonald could be a strong package.
