  1. Apparently you don't. Free safety's backup into coverage. Strong safeties stay closer to the box. It's why Chinn is struggling right now at FS. Also you haven't noticed how Jackson's tackling ability has improved. Don't be an idiot.
  2. I dont think he's too small, but anyway he'll be backing up to cover just like all FS do and Chinn would be filling the gap most of the time.
  3. yeah whichever works. We have too many CBs. Someone has to be able to play FS.
  4. DJax will have to move to FS. It would be perfect for him I think.
  5. No. He's the worst. He's the one that throws everyone off. The guards have to compensate for his mistakes and it trickles down to the tackles.
  6. I think changing players around wouldn't help much if Paradis is still at center.
  7. Can we also acknowledge that the fumble that was taken away from us would've changed the outcome of the game? It would've been tied or the momentum would've been in our favor and we could've won a close game. Officials still dictate who wins games.
  8. If our current safeties can't play FS that well, it may be time to move one of our CBs there.
  9. Chinn isn't a FS but we are forcing him to play most snaps at FS.
  10. When he doesn't have to cover for Miller, who has to cover for Paradis, he is just fine. Like I've said, fix center and the trickle down effect on every play will lessen.
  11. Our MLB and DE and OLBs are undersized.
  12. Because the NFL doesn't view the Panthers as one of their darling teams.
  13. Someone reminded me Erving has played center before. Might actually be our best option atm. Moton-Daley-Erving-Miller-Christensen to start out in practice and if that helps out the guards, then good. If one of the guards shows to still be weak after the change, then replace either one with Brown.
  14. Starting Brown wouldn't do anything until you change center. It's hard to tell were the guards stand as they keep having to make up for Paradis.
  15. Moton-Daley-Tecklenburg-Miller-Christensen would be the best option assuming Tecklenburg is better than Paradis. An improvement there helps the guards out tremendously and doesn't start a chain reaction that reaches to the tackles making up for Paradis' mistakes.
  16. The biggest change that needs to happen is Tecklenburg at center. Paradis' terrible play is leaving everyone on an island and guessing when they need to help him or guard their own man.
  17. I think center is the biggest need because Paradis is throwing everything off and everyone has to compensate for it.
  18. Carter is an undersized MLB and we already have too many undersized DE and OLBs. Today it showed as they were pushed around all game.
  19. So we lose by a TD that was gifted to them by the refs. Yes we could've played better, but refs still determine the outcome of games in the NFL and Im tired of it. It's the reason why I have only watched Panther games for the past 5 years.
  20. Defense cannot cover TEs or stop the run. Chinn used to be able to do those when he was OLB.
  21. A bad center can throw everything off. The guards have to compensate. The RBs have to compensate their blocks. The pressure gets to the QBs face immediately. You just cannot have a bad center, they are the backbone of the line. Get better talent there and you will see great results.
