  1. Bryce gets rattled easily, but the Cardinals were getting a ton of pressure. The OL was bad that drive.
  2. Yeah, Smitty is talking as an announcer. Would Smitty have said that if he was playing on the same team as XL and watched XL kill a drive because he couldn’t drag his toe on the third step? I don’t think so.
  3. There’s a weird thing that goes on in here over some of our backups. BC, Mays and Zavala are OK backups but they are starter level players. BC got nothing in FA and cam back to us. Our team talent level is at the bottom of the league. We certainly don’t have 8 NFL starter level OL on our team. Having to play Mays and Zavala/BC is not a good thing for us.
  4. The OL looked OK when the Cardinals were in prevent. Last drive, they man handled our OL. Zavala is not an NFL starter.
  5. Hate to tell you this, but we are the Browns. Since the hot start to 2018, we are now 30-71. We’ve averaged 5-12 for soon to be 7.5 years. No playoffs for soon to be 8 years. Right now we are tied with Atlanta for the second worst playoff drought (Jets first). We are firmly tied for 2nd place since the 4th place teams are 3 fewer years.
  6. You’re right. I was thinking of the GB game with the silly reach for the goal line when he wasn’t close that turned into a goal line fumble. I do remember all the discussions in here about end of the game interceptions and bad passes, etc. but that wasn’t against the Chiefs. That said, still the best season by a QB since Cam. Best 4 game run was Darnold to start 2021, but best full season was Teddy. That makes me really sad.
  7. That’s why I didn’t want him. The fact that it came out that he agreed with Fitterer to not trade Burns to the Rams told me everything. I still cringe every time I saw the dawg poo in here during this offseason like we were back. This team seems to be the opposite of that.
  8. When people keep bringing that up, remind them that Rhule’s first season included Teddy blowing chances to beat GB and KC who were the 2 playoff #1 seeds that year and Rhule started off his second season 3-1 with a close loss to Dallas and Darnold had 10 total TDs in those 4 games. Even with that, Rhule was universally disliked and booted in year 3 so the Philly/KC games mean nothing. We’ve gotten worse since Rhule and it honestly feels a lot further away from the playoffs.
  9. So true. Rodgers would have immediately targets his WR1, with no hesitation. Young should have it in his head that an offsides equals a ball to TMac with zero shots given. Just right to him even if he’s quadruple teamed. He threw the ball so far out of bounds that he absolutely had to have been throwing it away, not just a bad deep throw.
  10. Zavala got a bad holding call on the last drive where we stalled out.
  11. Dude has been hurt badly enough to need IR 3 years in a row and we were still OK with making him play a position he never played in the NFL. SMH, when we got rid of Fitterer, already a year later than we should have with Rhule, we should have actually cleaned house. We got rid of the figurehead, not the actual bad decisions and bad scouting.
  12. Pressure. The announcers were giving him kudos in how he can make great throws in a clean pocket. Every NFL QB can do that. Last drive wasn’t prevent defense and Young looked terrible to the point that he doesn’t even recognize a free play and throws the ball way out of bounds.
  13. He does. How many penalties are we gifted and he barely gets anywhere on the last drive. Also, WTF is with throwing the ball out of bounds instead of just chucking it up for TMac when you have an offsides and a free play? Is he even aware that it’s a free play and he doesn’t have to try and avoid an interception? Arizona gifted us a chance to come all the way back and our last drive looks like poo.
  14. First, tanking has nothing to so with trying to lose. We could have and should have tanked in 2022 by letting Rhule coach Carrol to the number pick and getting 3 1sts and 2 2nds and 1 3rd for Burns, CMC and DJ and traded anything else with a pulse. That said I also wanted Fitterer gone with Rhule to make sure we actually pick well. Second, I was really just joking based on the fact that I agree that we are just so bad.
  15. A skinny WR stiff armed him into oblivion and Wallace barely registered on the TD. Morgan wants dawgs and his LB corp is absolutely dog poo and the worst in the league.
  16. I got Sunday ticket so my sons at college could watch whatever they wanted (2 family streams) and so I could watch some of the interesting games. It’s really uncanny how bad we look when you watch good teams with some talent.
  17. So true. My posting of this was more indicting the truly horrible way the Panthers are treating their loyal fans with this garbage. I wonder if anyone who thought we’d go 9-7, thinks we can finish above .500 now.
  18. Ok folks, let’s get this started. When we officially lose, we will be #4 based on SOS.
  19. He didn’t think Arizona had a good play called so he wanted them to rethink the call and he was right. They got the TD on the new play.
  20. Have been for years, just not getting shot down by the FO supporters anymore.
  21. Spending a single top 10 pick is fine. Spending two top 10 picks, DJ Moore and two 2nds cannot ever happen again.
  22. GB has a special teams WR that can get two feet down while already falling out of bounds and we have a first round WR that can get his feet down with a few yards of green before the sideline.
  23. You do realize that XL and Ladd both ran a 4.39 at the combine. Ladd had a slightly better 10 yard split.
  24. Man, a QB like Stroud goes to two straight playoffs after his team was 4-13 and he’s trash? Bo Nix had his team in the playoffs and also has the second most TDs by a rookie QB but he’s trash too? Maye looked solid as well. Weird that you are bashing on the QBs drafted since 2022 and the 2024 class might be one of the best ever on early results. It’s pretty damn rare to have several QBs look good after one year. We knew 2022 sucked before the draft and it was kind of surprising that any QBs went in the 1st. 2023 was just OK but Stroud has been fine. 2025 is way too early. Anyway, 47 is kind of a ridiculous number as it includes 7th rounders. If you look at first rounders, it paints a different picture. 1 in 2022 that sucked and we knew it. 3 in 2023, 2 of whom are starting. 6 in 2024, all of whom are starters now. 2 in 2025, one of whom is starting. So, while they’ve had different levels of success, 9 out of 12 first round QBs since 2022 are their team’s starters. We had the top pick and it looks like we made multiple mistakes by trading up for who we did because 2024 looks like a crazy good QB class.
