  1. Open tryouts coming. Its time for some of you to relive your 5th grade football glory and show us all how its really done.
  2. Go take some more and listen to some Bruce Hornsby and The Range nothing to see here. I bought this place from the Zod guy and have converted it to a discussion board for exchanging 18+ fat chick porn and Pokemon trading cards.
  3. I could never fault him. In his position he needs that big pay day once and that has to take priority especially at his age.
  4. Yes, I spoke to Tepper at a dildo and exotic cheese party we both attended yesterday evening and he said that he can in fact play both DT and QB.
  5. I agree with that totally. I did not want to mention the elephant in the room but now that you have Bryce simply should not be captain due to being benched for poor performance. The fact that he does not seem to be a verbal leader or even lead by example on the field puzzled me even more as to why he was voted captain in the first place. He is now standing on the sidelines as a cheerleader where he belongs so I hate to poo on him even more because he is not a team cancer or an issue but he is not a leader. Time to give out some new C's and Dalton now needs one and a couple other new guys.
  6. We don't know that for a fact at all and how he personally will feel with a full season with the team and being the number 1 option around here.
  7. Can they vote additional captains since so many of our captains are either out the season with a injury or been replaced like Bryce?
  8. Yeah I would sign almost anyone off the street to run the offense rather than Bryce. Bryce just needs to hold a clipboard and keep smiling and cheering on the team as he has done the past couple weeks being the supportive teammate he is. That's his job now and all he should do.
  9. Doesn't it hurt the cap more to just cut him today? Doesn't it make sense from a money standpoint to keep him right there standing on the sidelines as a cheerleader to high five Dalton when he leads the offense to a score? I could be mistaken but to cut Bryce means we actually come out in some sort of cap trouble before June? Like it would be simply stupid to and cause us more problems? If anything happens to Dalton we could get anyone to run the offense before Bryce. Bryce does not ever have to play another snap again for the team but he still shouldn't be cut before off-season from what I was reading.
  10. How do you know he is not going to sign? How do we know he doesn't become interested in the team long term if he is here the entire season? How can the franchise sell themselves to him if they ship him away for some random any round pick? The fact is, none of us know the real story here because none of us talk to him to know what the chances are of him having interest long term in signing here. But I suppose if we are told one thing then last minute he does another and takes off at seasons end it will be all Morgan's fault of course Even if he did his due diligence and had the conversations that need to be had and makes a decision based upon those. Everyone has their own GM take on the matter and it appears many here will just trade him for anything they can get and assume he is taking off the second free agency starts. I'm simply of the mindset that we don't know poo here and only Morgan and company has any idea what's said in conversations regarding if he has any interest in remaining here or not. If it were me since we aren't going to get anything even remotely worth what he is to use, I would take the chance and keep him the whole season to give him a chance to gel with the QB and offense and enjoy being the number 1 option which may help him view this place as home and the best spot for his immediate future. Again, keep him and see if we can become his new home and show him what his new home would be like with him as the number one option here. We could get a few more good years out of him I'm sure.
  11. I'm not thinking we would get a 1 for him, I'm just saying I wouldn't trade him for less than that and would hang onto him. I would prefer not trade him at all and see about keeping him long term
  12. I agree better than nothing but I almost feel like it could be worth taking the chance to see if he would be interested in long term here. They need to feel him out and see how he feels about the long term. If he is in it for the long-term here I would hang onto him but if he says he probably is not I would consider moving him. Hopefully everyone is honest with one another
  13. Then I would take our chances and keep him and see how he does and if he likes what we have to offer here as his team moving forward while also having hope he will be interested in a contract where he is worth which by all means appears to be a decent contract. I wouldn't just trade him for any joke pick as it undermined the whole point of even getting him in the first place. Keep him and see how he does and if he likes what we have to offer here. It's worth the gamble to me over some 4th or 5th round pick.
  14. And best offer for me would be a 1st. Anything less and I would tell them to take a hike. Their 1st will be a very low first anyhow more than likely if going by recent history.
  15. Screw the Chiefs. I wouldn't trade him for anything less than a first round and why are they owed a trade anyhow? They have Patriots level entitlement these days. I would try to resign Johnson and work on a fair extension. Not for the highest in football at his position but something we feel is fair and that he is actually worth. If he takes it great, If not then I guess he must do what he must do but he does deserve a decent fair contract
  16. What's wrong with him winning some games for us? He is not the long term future and not going to be signing a huge 6 year contract that breaks the bank but it gives fans hope to see a QB who is capable of at least completing passes over 10 yards consistently. Better to see this and lose than to watch Bryce struggle to barely reach 100 yards passing and lose if you know what I mean.
  17. It's just conversation on a message board. You didn't hurt anything. Chat away my brotha. We feel the same way. Nothing wrong with that.
  18. It's all good. I agree with you completely. Friend or no friend we have to call it like we see it and he needs to do better if he wants to be counted on.
  19. That response was regarding Evero as DC and had nothing to do with XL. XL needs to catch his damn passes regardless and no excuse for drops at this level. Maybe one happens on occasion but two in a game is inexcusable. Friend and personal trainer or not he needs to catch the damn ball and if he seen this post he would probably agree with me. He will get it together and show his worth but no excuse for his drops.
  20. Typical pitchfork and torches in the air reaction to a loss. When we win he is good, when we lose he is awful. Yeah okay
  21. That dude has a belt but it appears it isn't doing him any damn good. Must just be for aesthetics. Why is he holding out a couple Andrew Jacksons for?
  22. He was a decent goalie for sure but I really don't see any NFL team drafting him in any round to play football. Free agent tryout perhaps but what position? Isn't he getting a little old to start a career in football though?....What am I missing here?
  23. Lawrence has at least proven he can QB an NFL team at some level even if he is now playing like a marginal NFL QB. The jags would never be dumb enough to make that trade and the Panthers would probably not want that huge contract right now. Trevor Lawrence still has hope to become what they initially thought but Bryce Young has shown almost that there is little to no hope for him in the NFL.
  24. That's okay as long as it wasn't Tim the tool man Taylor
  25. I can't even fathom playing with Bryce as my QB anywhere on the offensive side of the ball. If my second contract depended on Bryce's leadership (Please take that C off his jersey because he has never earned it) and abilities, I would be requesting a trade ASAP so I can't blame anyone who grew quickly frustrated with his lack of NFL level QB abilities. That is the worst QB'ing I have ever seen personally. It made Clausen's skills look decent. I feel bad for him to a degree but at the same time football is a business and if someone cant hack it and puts the rest of the team at risk for second contracts and throwing hospital balls when he throws over 10 yards then its time to get him off the field and let someone with a mentality to be a QB at that level do it.
