Panthers current Free Agents
Ricky Prickles replied to Leeroy Jenkins Ph.D.'s topic in Carolina Panthers
You never know, there might be something left in the tank there. Small prove it type 1 year veteran deal especially due to his age and current injury history. -
Going to have to agree with you there. Honestly it feels like over history having the number 2 or later pick for a QB seems like your chances are just as good if not better to get the best QB as well as it not costing you near as much to move up anywhere after that top number 1 overall pick if a team should so be inclined.

Draft Tez Walker!!
Ricky Prickles replied to Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dont know why he isn't but he SHOULD be. If he can physically make that throw in college then I expect him to make it in the pros and certainly if he was the number 1 overall pick. If he can do it, then I expect him to do it and if all of a sudden he can no longer then I have to find someone who can if im Dan Morgan -

We need to find a Puka Nacua in this draft for sure. Needle in a haystack is out there, we just have to scout better. -

Oh, I see what you are saying for sure and am concerned myself on many things regarding Bryce Young but it just shocked me to see that throw on tape as I have began to buy into 99% of the peoples posts on here saying Bryce essentially has an arm no better than my grandma's but that video showed me that he definitely has the ability to make the throw even if he isnt a strong armed QB. In other words, my hope had all but been lost but it gave me just a glimmer that possibly we could see an improved player next season if some things are worked on with him and also worked on around him (a line worth a crap). I dont have all the answers but sure would love to feel some sort of hope rather than just give up totally on next season as well before it is even close to starting. -
Lawrence was beat the heck up pretty good last season over and over. Lawrence is a damn good QB and I have a feeling will be showing it next season. That guy was just born to play QB at a high level and very well. I dont even care for him or the Jags but he is damn good and last season i am willing to bet will be an outlier. Look at the season before.

Draft Tez Walker!!

If he can make a throw like that in college, he should still be able to do it in the pros. Obviously the opposing defenders are better but as far as physically making a throw like that he should at least still be able to do it in the NFL. In other words he did not lose the physical ability to do it I think is what he is saying. College tape or not he still should be able to make that throw physically happen. -
See I definitely agree with this. I would look into bringing Curtis Samuel back again.

I would take Burns for Metcalf as long as Metcalf's contract isnt outrageous.

So what you are saying is Bryce has hope. If so you may be one of the few. So many have completely given up on him around here. I dont want to and would like to believe but I hope we get him some major help and as well see some major growth next season -
Draft Tez Walker!!

That was a hell of a good looking deep accurate ball with tons of velocity thrown by Bryce. If I saw that only, I would assume that guy can put the ball anywhere he wants at anytime and would have no issues taking him first. -

You guys depress me regarding anything Bryce. I have to admit im probably the same exact way too but does any of us here believe Bryce has a chance to be a premiere player in the league and be a dominant QB? I feel like 99.99% of us has no belief at all unless they give him a perfect team with amazing lineman who never miss a block, running backs who can blast through the line like Bo Jackson and can catch like CMC and WR's that are fast as lightning who run perfect routes and get separation immediately and tight ends who are all world and can block, catch and run like hell while getting open immediately. I mean, holy crap thats impossible personnel to obtain on one team all at the same time. -
"Peyton, you see that guy over there that goes by the name Ricky Prickles on the Panthers message board? Well, he was on hell of a shitty bust on his 7th grade basketball team. The sum bitch didn't even score one damn point the whole season. He is a straight up middle school basketball bust no doubt about that!" ~Ryan Leaf

When I was in 7th grade I played basketball the only year I ever wanted to play it. I was the only kid on the team who didn't get a bucket the whole damn season. I hereby proclaim the decree that I am a bust as far as basketball goes. I busted bad and don't even need Ryan Leaf to waste his energy telling me that.

Fat guys in the trenches make skilled position players look better. Lets get the best fat guys we can to protect whoever ends up being our QB next year and beyond. -

Agreed. He deserves a friendly spanking and a pull off of ole' Grandpa Alvin's cough syrup as a thanks for time spent making it easy for us to see and read. -
Wilks has a good smile and a talented ball room dancer. He will be quite fine I am sure.

I'm no rocket scientist or do I even claim to be but I believe the biggest problem with the 49ers in the Super Bowl was when overtime ended, they did not have more points than the Chiefs. My opinion is of the belief that if the 49ners would have scored more points than the Chiefs in overtime, they may have very well won that game because frequently we have been seeing the team that has the most points by the time the whistle blows for the end of the game, those teams usually do win. I would suggest to 49er faithful that the next time they find themselves in the Super Bowl (or any game for that matter I guess...?) they should try to be the ones with more points at the end when everyone is told the game is over. I feel like this would help better ensure them of victory. FYI, I have a theory that this may be true in other sports as well but I may be wrong I am not sure..... The team with the most points would probably win so teams should strive to have more points than the opposing team by the time the game is over.

Ummmmmm, circle jerk on a biscuit while all singing YMCA and everyone is friends again please.........? Debating is good but when you start hating one another, well that's just bad policy fellas. In the words of Rodney where my coke at King, "Cant we all just get along?".

Annual reminder that Panthers drafted this guy and then lost him

Well that's a given that I thought we all kinda felt.....? -
Yep, agreed. Keep churning those QB's until you hit on that freak of nature HOF type guy who could do it all and carry a team. If that pot of gold is found at the end of the rainbow the franchises who trajectory should trend upward. They are so rare but I would take the risk trying to find them until I did.

Was he juicing it up also? I just looked him up and it appears he put on some muscle and strength from one year to the next. He must have totally done it on vitamins, chicken and potatoes brother.
