I'll support whoever is our QB as long as they are on the team. But that said, the team is not tied to him long term. Obviously best situation is that he's good and next year we can FINALLY fix the oline. Cause if hes bad we are back to the drawing board and in a bad spot.

Im really excited about this defense on paper. I think he will be a star. Though, looking at last years 1st round 'can't miss' CB's they really struggled out of the gate. I think the Huddle needs to have patience with him this 1st year.

I mean, Sam didnt play and last time he did for the Jets its not like he was impressive. The Panthers are taking a flyer on him.. trade compensation aside, its not a stretch to see why people might think PJ could give him a run.

Yeah, my perspective would change if I got refunded for it.. but i'll hang onto it for a while and see if after a few months the patches make it better...

Any QB after Cam was going to get flammed more than they deserved. Teddy IMO is a perfect back up QB, but thats his ceiling at this point.

Not sure if you are being factious or not...I'll assume your not.... its hard to have an actual discussion on these message boards. The reason I think its worth questioning if Brady could be on the hot seat is that he came to the team as this OC protégé. Now I can understand last year, not having a offseason but if I remember correctly, he was the one that wanted Teddy based on working with him at the Saints. Teddy's problem was not that he didnt know the playbook but that he was not aggressive enough when it mattered. Is that Brady's fault? No, but Brady recruited him so he does carry some of the responsibility of Teddy's performance. So 2021 has a full offseason with a QB that is known to be aggressive. Im optimistic that Sam plays to a high level. But the question is if he doesn't, then what? I think its worth taking a hard look at the Brady to see if he is the guy we want to develop a new rookie is Sam tanks.

With Matt Rhule having a 7 year contract we know that Tepper will allow him to build the team. The defense needed to be rebuilt and it looks to be going in the right direction. The offence, with so much weapons, it really has not taken off. We can blame that on Teddy, but my question is, we have yet another year of a mediocre offence, is it time to take a good hard look at Brady? Obviously if Brady can turn Darnold into a top 10 heck, top 15 QB he is probably gone next year, but if Darnold is a bottom 25 QB, SHOULD Brady be gone?

But... can he play LT?

Long term contracts are bad for business... Contracts for both players and teams should be 3-4 years max.

Ok little rant here... So there are a lot of people that poo on David Newton, and I get it. But what I get frustrated with is that those same people also tend to poo post on the young content creators online that are just trying to provide content. This is a small market team. So maybe lets not crap on the guys that put in their own effort to provide content. I recommend you guys subscribe to youtube channels that are dedicated to the panthers. I get what your saying. It was more that Ross would ask a question and Chinn would give a very political answer (which I respect). I was hoping that Chinn would talk more about the team.

I've listened to the RT podcast for years now. He does a good job.

Not a great interview TBH.. but it was cool hearing from Chinn. There is a lot to be excited about with him.

Im pretty high on Darnold but it seems like the 'rebuild' of Sam is getting his confidence back. I would expect we beat the Jets but am concerned that if Sam plays the Jets (even though they are a different team now) and loses that it might set him back even further. What do you think? If we happen to lose to the Jets will that impact Darnold or will that have no effect?
