How often do we go 8-8 or better? Edit just looked up Tomlin: in these 15 seasons he went 8-8 three times.

What’s he up to? 15 seasons? In that same time we have had back to back winning seasons…. 0 times.

This is who Matt Rhule has always been. Him and Snow can fix the defenses up and then they pray for league average offense and it usually takes until the third year to make it to league average. Joe Brady is going to get a job next year and look great and it’ll become clear that Rhule hurts his offenses.

I worry Pickett is just an older dude finally playing good in college ball because he’s older than the majority of kids he’s against. His fifth year of college ball finally got him over 15 touchdown passes in a season and that concerns me.

Rhule will be here next season. But it would make this coaching job more attractive to already have a young QB in place.

I don’t trust KP or MC and, to me, Willis was never a true top pick.

I will watch because I’ve always believed he was getting three years no matter what. If we don’t show improvement this season he will be gone. If we show improvement then we are a borderline playoff team and Tepper gets applauded for sticking with his guy and not reacting out of emotion. If he sucks again then we better not miss on the next one.

He is the only QB in this class I trust.

Honestly seems like he’d be right up Rhules alley and could save his job.

Rhule has bad poor offenses everywhere. This was never a Brady issue. It’s part of the reason I hope that the Gators can recruit him to be our OC.

Two years is a lot of time for young quarterbacks.

Fields is two years younger. Born on March 5, 1999. Darnold was born on June 5, 1997.

Looked it up. Was wrong. 7th got Brown the year before. Meh.

When he got here he was hurt and recovering from having been around Urban Meyer. Give him the offseason to wash himself of that filth and let’s see what we have next year with him and Horn.

I’m still happy with the Henderson trade. Darnold not so much.

Stingley Jr

Rhule turned out to be a guy who was exactly as he was in college. He gets the defense to improve while he’s is there from the previous regime but the offenses suck under him. I see nothing different here.

Yeah I don’t think he’s terrific or anything but I thought he’d give this team an offensive makeover. He won a playoff game with The Golden Calf of Bristol against the Steelers and he’s got Mac Jones developing and protected.

I understand why you wouldn’t want him. I just thought he was the best option of what was available.

I guess I missed that one. My girlfriends tired of hearing me complain about Rhule. I wanted Josh McDaniels from that round of hires and then I decided I just have to try to support our guy but he made it hard. Ready for the next chapter.

Rhule brought in Teddy and gave PJ the backup role even though he didn’t earn it in preseason and then he put Cam in the game after being with the team for like two days and you think it’s about race?

Because it’s not an offensive coordinator problem, it’s the head coach. Matt Rhule and Phil Snow work on defenses at every stop and rarely does their offense ever get above league average. He’s won everywhere he has been but it’s never been because of the offense. Not sure how he got labeled as an offensive minded head coach because the numbers for him never reflected that. I think he cracked the top 50 in offense in college once out of seven seasons.
