and when they do all that and the rb runs for insane yardage somehow byoung gets all the credit . byoung had an ok game but played his worse on the final drives of thr game and somehow gets no blame.

shough outplayed young this game. with that said young didnt play bad was actually probably the 4th or 5th best game he has had in thr nfl. he seemed to play his worse when the game was on the line which was odd but he played well alot of the game made some big throws wrs were open all over and we still lost would love for dc to just let young sling it all over the last few games. its been 3 years we shouldnt still be excited about a 150 yard no turnover game but thats how bad the qb play has been for a while. if byoung fails miserably passing alot last few games so be it it shows he isnt the answr. i have been way off the byoung train for a while but wanting him to prove me wrong or 100% correct bc lower end middle of road qb is only gonna doom the panthers to nfc south garbage for years to come

i have only seen shough against the panthers but the saints may have gotten a good one he making impressive throws decisions as a rookie

i think the best way to look at this would be to somehow look at just thr top 10 qbs in the league stats each year. the rest of the qbs dont really matter that much for this. i agree it seems to be a down year for thd top qbs the crappy qbs suck every year so dont see as much change with them.

Bryce youngs first year stats 2877 yards 11td 10 ints 5.2ypa 11fumbles With the eye test I think all of them looked better than byoung, looking at first few starts. Panthers have stuck by byoung for 3 years even though its debatable whether they should or not. I think all of them have had moments where they looked just as good as young has, young has had alot more chances to show his moments. If you look at the entire stats of them they are not as good as youngs entire 3 years. Do I want any of them to start for the panthers not at all. Young sucks and they suck. Hopefully young proves me wrong and I eat my words as the panthers go deep into the playoffs.

sanders add 1 rushing td and 120ish more total yards a loss but third nfl game started not bad at all. Time will tell who is the better qb but byoung setting the bar very very low.

The entitlement byoung has had his entire nfl career is insane. The panthers literally brought in no qb competition to protect his ego. If Cam Newton had had byoungs stats his first 3 years no one would be saying we would be picking up his 5th year option, panthers would have him riding the bench . I dont get it at all. Still hope byoung proves me wrong and lights it up and the team goes deep into the playoffs but looking at the wins I feel all but maybe 2 were in spite of young not b/c of him

if we counting rushinf also sanders also scored 1 rushing td. so byoung had one more rushing td same passing tds sanders had the int and around 120 more total yards than young in his 3rd ever game. young year 2 end of the year at that time but in 3 years he has arguably had only 1 better game than sanders had in his 3rd ever game even having this convo shows how bad most of youngs 3 years in the league have been. no way browns trade sanders and he may still suck just crazy to think how littlr production panthers have had from young and everyone craps on sanders when he did this his 3rd ever game on a total crap team

251 yards 3tds for young week 17 last year would have to go with sanders 364 3tds 1 int...

panthers lost to thr saints back when they had one win...young didnt do much that game and panthers have all the reason in the world to fight hard as they are now and were then still alive for playoffs..not saying he is better or worse than young just saying its early to throw rocks in glass houses lol

just to be fair byoung has had one game better than sanders game today in his entire nfl career.

this is what people dont seem to realize pull up kyle allen matt moore tyler heinecki stats they are better than byoungs but everyone says he is great and they all sucked. young has had a few good games but the young that shows up 95% of the time is 150 passing and an int and a fumble and a td either rushing or passing...not the worse qb in the nfl but somewhere between 20th and 28th.

wondering if i am the only one who feels this way but this 7 and 6 record panther team has me less excited than any other time i can remember the panthers having a halfway decent record. normally i have hope and expect them to win and instead this year its just wierd. maybe i just need to somehow convincr myself byoung is actually good

i heard passing for more than 200 yards a game is a sign that a qb is terrible ...checkdown passes are really the hardest passes to complete only done by the best lol. seriously though as a rookie lower draft pic on a bad team he is arguably better than 3rd year bryce

I agree with this if the media and random fans that actually never watch him play would stop cherry picking crazy off the wall stats to show he is something he is not and simply be honest he is bottom of the nfl as far as qbs go and the other teams that have similiar qbs are all looking to upgrade. I have never seen an nfl qb get babied so much I do not understand it at all. I do feel he had his best two games of his career the last 3 weeks. The falcons and the rams. With that said all these teams are selling out to stop the run the coaching has been awesome and the defense has really stepped up. Yet no media is praising anyone but young. Hopefully he can start producing like those two games every week but this is year 3 and he has had what 3 games over 200 yards passing.

if he goes on to have the year darnold and jones have had after the vikings got rid of them then his final few games he is gonna go off , hard to believe they let darnald and jones go to keep mccarthy...

Did you know if you only look at the completion percentage of every pass byoung has thrown and completed that he has a 100% completion percentage pretty much best ever for a qb.

100% agree just meant Byoung and Tdilfer was the best comparison I have seen . A terrible QB whose team wins despite him most of the time and every so often will have a decent game. With that being said this year in particular alot of teams are winning despite not having really good qb play...the bears and broncos for example

I was curious so looked up a trent dilfer stats and all from the superbowl and years around it... Byoung and trent dilfer are very simliar and both got 90% of their teams wins by the rest of the team doing what it had to to win despite of the QB. who knows maybe the panthers make the playoffs go on to win the superbowl and Byoung will be talked about like dilfer is when people talk about his superbowl

byoung has 3 games this year over 200 yards passing....its ok for fans to not be singing his praises
