  1. To each their own. I would still take a MLB with HOF potential over a pass rusher with HOF potential. Don't get me wrong, I would still want good pass rushers, at about the level of CJ or Hardy. Just like if ya take Watt, you're still going to want a good MLB to help sync the defense up.
  2. Pass . I I'm more than happy with Cam in '11 and Luke in '12. Opposed to Watt in '11 and Ryan T. in '12. Besides that........ Luke >>>> Watt. Give me a stud MLB that can outsmart opposing Qbs and drag his teammates into the perfect spots so they can make an upcoming play, instead of a stud pass rusher.
  3. His name being mentioned within 20 sentences of a murder, probably means he isn't even on our radar now.
  4. Wasn't it somewhat cold and wet throughout that game? Deflated balls essentially eliminates those condictions making it (the ball) much easier to throw and a lot softer to catch. While the Colts had their regulation balls bouncing off the hands of some of their WRs..or Luck seemingly not being able to get a decent grip on them.
  5. Wtf do some of you argue? Just /nod and /smile. Like if a mentally ill child puts a poo mustache on the family cat..and screams that the cat is now William Shakespeare. You don't get into an arguement with the mentally ill child... you nod, smile, and walk away.
  6. I tried to read through this entire thread. I really did try. I couldn't make it through all the whining and bitching though. The only thing remotely entertaining was the couple of posters trying to hype up Kiper, rotoworld and other sites. I like the pick. Funchess is going to be good for us.
  7. I think G-man goes with whatever 1st round quality OT is still available. Didn't G-man imply that there are 4 or 5 Ots worthy of a 1st round pick?
  8. Depends. Is she in my house, trying to physically injure me with whatever she can find and use as a makeshift weapon?
  9. I've a friend that said Hardy should have been suspended much longer since the NFL has the video proof of him knocking his girl out in an elevator. He was being serious. Not sarcastic, or joking.
  10. haha. Saints were the "top dogs" last off-season also.
  11. Didn't the Bucs/Mrsa end the career of Carl Nicks also? He was considered one of, if not, the best guard in the NFL before they got a hold of him. Hope Tynes wins his lawsuit and the Bucs are forced to pay out the nose. Ending the careers of two players is BS.
  12. If the Panthers finally play well at the start of the season.....AND the middle of the season......to go along with how well they play at the end of the season... He will be considered a good HC.. Not by a lot of Panther fans, of course.. since a lot of Panther fans expect perfection at all times....since we've come to expect that with our franchises' long and trophy filled history.
  13. I read it. Was Ed Reed considered a top FA in any area? Wasn't he broken and used up by the time the Texans picked him up, also coming off of a big injury (I'm not googling it yet, just off the top of my head) Smart teams are smart teams. Sometimes they pick up highly targeted FAs not for a possible increase in reg season wins, since it's already assumed they will win enough to get into the postseason, they pick up highly targeted FAs so they can possibly get further in the playoffs than they did the previous years. Teams like the Bucs believe they can just throw a bunch of money at free agents and they will somehow win games. The fact that, the Bucs are on their third HC since even Cam was drafted...should tell everyone what they need to know about them. They rarely pick the right players for them...whether the FAs are bottom tier or top tier. Mix that with their inability to draft like G-man.....and you have one of the worst teams in the NFL over the last few years. Same thing with the Raiders.
  14. Were his two options us........or using forged documents to play on a little league team?
  15. Before Cam commits.... he wants to make sure we sign Boykin. Boykin is every Qb's dream come true.
  16. Chandler.......... DT/OT Webb... ... Qb/Wr/St Teddy ........ CB/WR We need some leather helmets and go at this poo old school...where every player played 3 or 4 different positions.
  17. Why we're posters and Gettleman isn't.. He horrible at typing.
  18. The extent of G-man's conversation with Michael Crabtree's agent. *ring ring* "Agent - Hello" "G-man - Michael should really go to the Eagles".
  19. I grew up with someone that went to high school with Michael Crabtree. He told my friend to tell me, to tell all of you. fug yall.
  20. He would probably tell the player to go to the other team..........like it was reported he did with Nicks last offseason, when the Colts were interested also.
  21. I think it's more about showing a lot of interest in the guy on the first day of FA. A guy that, chances are, no other team is going to really show any interest in for another month or two. Unless he is strictly a ST interest....then he fills no WR need. Basically, for the next week or two.....G-man should focus on the players that probably won't be available in a month or two.
  22. Underwood filled a need, brother. He was somewhat of a speed guy. We needed some speed in our WR corp. Even if he didn't make it, he still fit into a void we were lacking in.
  23. Idk what I'd think if we just frontload Luke and Cam's contracts...so the cap space is smaller and the minimal level of spending is easier to reach............with just signing a few bottom tier players for the vet min, and a few lower-mid tier players for around $4M-$5M each.
  24. Doesn't hurt that the Falcons and Saints are rebuilding and the Bucs will have a rookie qb....
  25. That's insane. It would almost be like getting a slower less elusive version of Cotchery.
