  1. Well, I was just musing if my memories, which aren't that great on old stuff, corresponded with the bottom rankings yeah. Like if one year's team had a ton of bottom rankings in those different categories, that would be interesting. If I am expressing myself correctly. It's probably poo that should remain obscure and that's why I didn't want to push it. (like how many would really care about it, too much trouble..) edit again: I think I was looking for something like a voting deal where so many points for a 1st place, down to last place, and seeing who totaled... like the aggregate score of all 30 fuging years so it's probably a little much
  2. It seems like that stuff runs in certain places and I wonder about the training regimens, and for sure the turf. Maybe the people assigned to these positions have a better or worse effect on things... all that stuff. I'm on Tepper about that turf; he is ridiculous. Says he wants to win. Hire someone to figure it out and pay them. Not like he can't recoup plenty of profit still. The valuation of the team is constantly rising.
  3. I was just wondering if there were a predominance of low ranking attached to particular years. I think I assumed it covered all the years. I am bad for skimming stuff and not thoroughly reading through it. It's not a big thing. I get curious - but man those things are rabbit holes.
  4. I mean, it's largely a good way to live. All good. I wasn't pointing fingers at you.
  5. This is football, not female spouse behavior. Ahh, maybe it is. And this poo goes both ways. I'm working hard towards 'if there isn't any SH there won't be any IT".
  6. I think I am going to file your post under 'Complaining about complaining, and those people complaining sure are assholes".
  7. The bright side is that we just about have closure.
  8. Rehabbing the retread label. I wanted another retread instead of all that over paying to draft one. With a view that this is what we could get. Now, maybe without having to watch Bryce play this wouldn't look so great. But we did and it does.
  9. What gets me is the Dante, Diontae, D'onta, all this creative spelling. KISS.
  10. Dane Jackson? Hey, remember, it's a big man's game. Maybe we're running a 56 defense or something.
  11. Never mind I think I assumed stuff that wouldn't be there. No big deal. Thanks.
  12. Nothing specific. More if they get a lot of bottom 5 type of representation. Or not.
  13. To me, his selection falls under the 'sell out for Bryce's sake' draft philosophy we had adopted. The catching and route running in addition to the ball carrying was the motivation for targeting him. I'd have rather not signed both guards to that huge money and found a real good prospect. But I understood what was going on. At the time, I saw it as important for Young to have all the excuses thoroughly countered so things would be clear - for whoever wasn't clear. So wasn't bitching like a lot of people were over no center.
  14. I haven't had a shred of hope since draft night 2023, until they benched draft night 2023. Which was a decline from the very little hope I had since Tepper bought the team
  15. I always thought he was mostly bull. Talented as hell but that ego was offensive pretty much. Then a few years ago I heard some Braves people talking about him from the baseball days and they had great things to say about him as a teammate and person and he was being all humble and religious and seemed cool. But now, he is like ultimate over the top sports dad, it is too much like the little league version with dad as the coach (which, some men can do that and not come off like it's all about their kid, but it seems to me that does not describe Deon).
  16. That's great. What other years are scoring badly? Seeing any other across the board 'leaders'?
  17. It's okay to discuss it now, not like it will progress to signing in a week or two from here. As far as his price on an expiring contract, having the inside track to a potent WR, if you think you are about to do something, that is a feature. It is an edge for your team, if you decide he fits (and also depending on the other UFA WRs which I haven't looked up). But it adds an incentive in the right market. We can also bluff that we are getting a comp pick either way so why would we sell close to that... You don't HAVE to trade him, but you can give people the opportunity to get some bidding fever going. As far as drafting we need to remember both our the top offensive coaches came up working with receivers. I think they probably have a good eye for evaluation relative to the fit they want. I don't think we need to tie our past WR flubs to these guys.
  18. If you are saying that as annual pay, I don't think so, but you are right that he is valuable and good.
