I don't understand the people saying Bryce can make all the throws. What is that? His velocity is less; when he throws to the same target the ball simply takes longer to get there. Is that enough to beat these DBs? I was always on the down side of that. It is just harder to do. Why make it harder? I never got it. Dalton isn't winging it like AR but he is NFL level.

I think Legette has some DJ (Moore) in him, as far as getting up field with the ball. He is strong like DJ.

Carolina Panthers more than year late paying police

I would counter with there is hope he stumbles into a good hire and recognizes it. Pretty sure some people are getting fired over this police invoice thing. Next. -
Is it to early to revisit the Corral vs Malik Willis debate?

They win how they can. They'll meet a bad matchup, that's the way it goes. Maybe they don't go to the Super Bowl but Tomlin is probably maximizing his players. -
It parallels what I thought I was seeing last year. It is eerie. Even up to the third game, where we could see that it could look pro. I think Tepper saw what was common to both years. I also think this could be a turning point big time. Tepper needs 'his' coach, one that he feels good enough about to trust. This looks the most promising chance for that to evolve. I really believe it comes down to trust and he has been burned when he trusts people.

The players came back with Wilks, more coming back with Morgan, good to see. What does Moose have to say I wonder about it. And fwiw some came back with Reich, he was a Panther too. And I would definitely like to hear what he thinks.

Maybe he isn't that great at hiring competent people. I am pretty certain he isn't going through invoices. I was writing this when you posted that ^^^ -
After I posted that about it I had the same though: why did you have to ask that?

Rich people can be the tightest SOBs in business, while they splurge on themselves at the same time. -

To the thread title, I would say it is too late. Happy for Willis, you know. I am in the same place I've been which is wanting to see who Canales pursues when the opportunity comes. ----- Dalton, man. It was everything I hoped for and better than I expected. And I expected it to be good. I think with a 17 game season and if you win it is more, two Andy Daltons and a developmental guy would be pretty cool. He is the kind of QB you give help to, he knows how to use it. -

Okay just did hear Pierce. Lol. Not quite Singletary but hard ass. I kind of loved it. Get out the pads and the blocking sleds lol. And the business decision guys, heh heh. Maybe he'll go on a cut spree while we still have number one waiver spot. -
And Diontae was really good with the ball in his hands. I don't think I had seen where he had a catch and run to realize he is pretty good with it. Legette too, as a ball carrier he looks good. And doesn't mind blocking. Yeah.

I just knew we would be stopping some run with that front. poo. The guys in there for DB are doing better than I expected though.

I will. Glad you put this up there. -
A'Shawn caught my attention vs the Saints and has kept it. So much wash it's hard to see the numbers but looks like he had a very strong game. probably rewatch tonight.

Thielen's looked bad to me. I actually thought, if you are going out that is the way to go.

I saw that. I was eating it up agreeing with everything and then he came with the Bryce pep talk and I was like ... sigh.... why do I feel like if he were to play vs him he would be chomping at the bit dreaming of strip sacks, ints, all that stuff.
-
That's why you throw deep lol. I like it when we do it.

Hmm Cincinnati plays tonight and then has to play at a 1 pm Sunday away game. I don’t mind that too much. -

I imagined what would be said about that in private. I didn't realize there were enough for the players to notice. Lol. That will be a subject of conversation. "Wtf with the bags? Did you guys see that?" Then here comes that answer - what they are all probably thinking. -
Use that kind of OL if you have it. They are just getting started together too, but that can best protect the older guys back there and let them play. Dalton has done it before. A little. He doesn't have a problem thinking because he sees and reacts to stuff that eventually is relatable to something he has done. (meaning if it confuses him initially, he will probably be able to say... I see what they are doing, it's like when I played against so and so. I think he said something like that) He has the tools, and can just play. He is going to have an off day but mostly what we saw is what he is. The run he made for a 1st that got called back, he shouldn't be doing that much.

Leader. fuging cool. and lol thank you to the bag wearers because that poo got Bryce benched as much as his play. -
Would you trust Tepper if you were Darnold? Did everything they could to not have him play in 2022. You could do far worse than Darnold, obviously. cough cough bryce cough
