These folks would miss on Burrow because he doesn't have a cannon arm. They'd miss on Murray because he's too short. There are very few check every box QB prospects and they go #1 overall when they come along and the team sitting at #1 doesn't even listen to trade offers.

I've said it until I'm blue in the face, but you aren't getting that type of guy at #6 anyway. So why keep harping on it? If you still believe in "can't miss prospects", can I interest you in some oceanfront property in Kansas?

No alpha... Dafuq does that even mean? That's something I imagine someone like Rhule saying to justify not drafting someone and then still reiterating it after the guy has an All-Pro rookie season. What I'm trying to say here is you aren't getting the type of prospect you want at #6. The guy who checks all the physical boxes, played well at the college level, projects well at the NFL level, and knocks it out of the park on the whiteboard and during the interview process. That guy goes #1 overall.

At #6 you might be getting your pick of the litter instead of the 3rd or 4th option. You aren't getting the Trevor Lawrence or Andrew Luck type prospect everyone wants unless you're sitting at #1 overall in the right draft class.

You get our current QB situation by refusing to make a real investment in the position. When you shop in the scratch and dent section scrounging for a bargain, usually you just end up with scratched and dented junk.

The talk about Burrow lacking elite traits coming out of LSU baffled the hell out of me. Did they not watch him throw dimes 40+ yards down the field on the move? That's elite traits. Like, people really actually watched video game poo like this and were like *yawn* "lacks elite traits"

I have no idea how anyone could've watched Wentz play his final year in Philly and thought he had much of anything left in the tank. Him and Ertz looked completely shot. Yep. That team in your av has been all over a particular QB prospect in this draft. Instead of trying to outsmart everyone else maybe we should try paying attention to what smart organizations are doing.

It really is though. That doesn't mean you bat 1.000 by any means. But identifying the right QB and drafting him really is the key to turning around a dumpster fire franchise.

There's no Trevor Lawrence or Andrew Luck prospect in this draft but most franchise QBs weren't that type of prospect. That's why you pay scouts. Go find the franchise QB.

We're the worst organization in the league right now. Tepper was right when he said you have to have a GM, a HC, and a QB. Unfortunately, he failed miserably in putting together his football organization and now here we are.

Voila. Everyone wants to talk about OL, OL, OL but QB trumps everything else. If you don't have a franchise QB and you have the opportunity to land a franchise QB you can't pass. There will probably end up being a franchise QB in this draft. Identify him and draft him. Hint: he played HS football half an hour away from BOA.
