"It's working, you just can't see it"
LinvilleGorge replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't forget, he never beat any actually good college football teams. He only won two games vs. ranked opponents and those two teams (Navy and ECU) dropped from the rankings after losing to Temple on their way to .500ish seasons. Matt Rhule is a fraud. Tepper is gonna have to swallow the very bitter pill that he got duped. -
The boo-birds landed Rhule on NFL.com
LinvilleGorge replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I honestly don't care. If Tepper doesn't care why should I? -
Rhule is the bust. Brown showed significant promise last year. Everyone has regressed this year. There are so many glaring signs that our coaching is just flat out not NFL caliber. If Brown doesn't bounce back next year under a new staff then I'll be concerned about him. If there's not a new staff next year, then we're fuged anyway so who cares?
-
Bingo. Rhule and company SAID one thing, but they DID another. Everything they did indicated they felt they could make a quick turnaround. Now here we are stuck with a shitty staff, a shitty team, depleted draft capital to work with, and nowhere near the cap space we should've had.

Newton on Rhule: Post-Game Presser
LinvilleGorge replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam is never gonna throw a coach or teammate under the bus. Lord knows he's had ample opportunity during his career. -
I certainly hope not. If Tepper keeps Rhule after this season then there's no point in continuing to follow this dumpster
-
I'm probably gonna follow Howell wherever he goes. I'm done with this poo.

Heading up to the mountains. I'm not wasting anymore beautiful Sundays watching this bullshit. -
Sam Darnold likely starting again for last few games
LinvilleGorge replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sorry for Sam, but I hope the boos rain down heavily and often. This needs to get as ugly as possible. -

Please let this be the disaster all fully anticipate. Nothing against Sam. He seems like a legit good dude. But we need Matt Rhule and his clown show the fug outta here. -

Christmas Updates: Tepper—you’re losing fans
LinvilleGorge replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Hornets set NBA attendance records for years before Shinn dicked over the fans. If the Panthers were fielding a decent product and struggling to build a fanbase you might have a point. -

I wasn't. I didn't become a fan until we drafted Peppers out of UNC. There's very little to tie me to this franchise right now as a fan. -
ESPN suggests 2 QBs for 2022 for the Panthers...
LinvilleGorge replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
We've stopped digging. We're at rock bottom but we're currently searching for a jackhammer. -
I just don't think you can draft an IOL in the top 10 and get value. If you want to draft IOL, you gotta trade down and make up for some of that lost draft capital IMO.
-
You and your "unbiased" Howell bat signal. LOL!
-
Replace Howell with any other college QB and UNC is worse. He put up very good numbers in the bowl game last year against the best D in the SEC without both RBs and his #1 WR. What really hurt UNC this year was no other WR outside of Downs stepping up. Downs was able to replace Brown in the bowl game last year. But one receiver just isn't enough. Once teams figured out the could double Downs and spy Howell the going got really tough but he still kept the Heels competitive. It's easy to tell the folks that didn't actually watch the game but still want to try to talk.
-
I hope that's them helping Rhule pack up his poo.

This would be par for the Rhule course. The Rhule course: -
Which is a gigantic red flag. For an OL that looked really good last year, there would've been some early NFL entrants had there been any true talent there. Two NFL RBs just made them look a lot better than they were. Sam Howell and Josh Downs were the entire offense this year.
-
Oh, he elevated them. That team probably only has 2-3 wins without him. Somehow they managed to be competitive in most every game. Howell = "somehow".

Just letting Rhule further drive us into the ground.
