  1. If we're talking about trends, we definitely don't want to look at yards and TDs.
  2. Brace yourself, but Winston's career INT% is 3.4 vs Darnold's 3.2. Over their careers they've been roughly equal at throwing INTs. Winston has averaged 0.6 fumbles per game to Darnold's 0.4. Turnover wise, they're very close. There's a huge gap in yardage and TDs though.
  3. I can't imagine having this much hatred for a long time player at the most important position in football for your supposed favorite team. Whatever coping strategies you used to survive those years, maybe apply them to survive reading posts from people who are still fans.
  4. This is pretty much the truth. When you face him, you better he ready to put up points. He's probably going to, but he's going to give you 3-4 turnover opportunities too. If you don't capitalize on them you might be in for a bad day.
  5. Jameis has shown a lot more at the NFL level than Darnold has. I'd rather take a chance on a guy who has shown an ability to play at a high level and who needs to work on a turnover problem than a guy who basically has to learn how to play QB at the NFL level.
  6. I would've taken almost anyone over Teddy. The outcome of that experiment was painfully predictable.
  7. It comes down to whether or not he can cut down on the turnovers. The dude put up huge numbers in TB, it was just that the turnovers were part of the "huge numbers".
  8. Does he have similar ability though? He hasn't taken a single regular season snap in the NFL yet. Plenty of highly drafted players expected to be future All-Pros bust or underperform. Moton is a proven commodity.
  9. Well, I don't know what's going on but Burke County gas stations are running out left and right today.
  10. Same. He was just there. He had to know he was in trouble when he played so much in the 2nd game when we were playing pretty much nothing but bubble guys.
  11. All coaches tend to show allegiance to guys they're familiar with, particularly early in their career. It's just that list coaches come from either prior NFL experience or powerhouse college experience. Having a large chunk of your roster comprised of Temple and Baylor players though... oh wee mayne. We're not exactly talking about Alabama and Clemson here. These are the same players Rhule couldn't beat ranked collegiate competition with, much less NFL competition.
  12. Meanwhile, the three young WRs on the practice squad...
  13. I'd wager to say you'd be hard pressed to find a single regular poster on this forum who gave Grier any shot at all prior to camp starting to make the final roster this year.
  14. Just imagine the level of poo posting he'd be engaging in right now with us currently carrying all of the TEs. LOL!
  15. The TE thing has definitely become a curiosity. We must be planning on running two TE sets a LOT. For old time's sake...
  16. Just bumping this for a bit as a reminder. Enough is enough. The repeated warnings haven't worked. The hammer has started swinging.
  17. Honestly, MJ was Amini Silatolu level bad for the Bengals. I have to think we got scooped on some other attempted claims.
  18. Also not like a '70s station wagon in a demolition derby
  19. I'm shocked he got claimed but happy for him. Seems like a legit good dude.
  20. I come from a long line of country ass hillbillies. Roughshod means shoeing a horse and not trimming the nails off. Usually done in the winter to improve traction on frozen ground but it also causes the ground to get really chewed up so the saying basically implies that whatever is being run over is getting utterly fuged up in the process.
  21. Basically grown ass men many of whom were former JUCO players running roughshod over actual HS kids, all televised by ESPN.
