    IMO, NOT pulling him is throwing in the towel. We are running the most bland, vanilla offense imaginable just to try to avoid the QB turning the ball over and yet Darnold is still turning it over in droves.

    Howell ain't gonna be there in the 2nd. NFL talent evaluators watch games. They don't see a preseason top 10 struggling and just assume the QB is having a "down year".

    This. People think I hate Darnold. I don't. He seems like a good dude. I really think he's giving it all he's got. He's just not the answer. I hate the fact that the decision makers got duped into convincing themselves that he might be.

    Seriously though about Howell... My heart says I want him here. Bad. My head says I want him to go to the Steelers where he'd be supported by a far better organization that has it's poo together.

    This thread is spot on. Being at the game today, none of the offense was communicating on the sidelines in the second half. Several defensive players (Shaq notably) talking to PJ while we had the ball. The team was anticipating the change that never came. They know Darnold ain't it.
