You don't want a Jared Goff clone at #8? Yeah, me neither. -

I hope he's right here but listening to Shanny drool over the read option and the threat of a running QB yesterday makes me seriously doubt it. -
Not gonna lie, I like Wilson better but I'm right there with you on everything else you said. We're highly unlikely to suck bad enough next year to get a Howell or Rattler. I don't see how anyone is gonna out suck the dumpster fire in Houston. They might field the worst NFL team ever this coming season if Watson isn't there or isn't playing.

Fields. He sold me in the Clemson game. I always loved Wilson. Shi Smith sold me at the Senior Bowl. Marvin Wilson sold me when he helped the FSU defense stone wall a dominant UNC rushing attack. Eric Stokes and Greg Newsome sold me with workouts. Always like the players but wasn't quite sure on the speed measurables. Yeah, those questions definitely got answered

Kitchen and living room. It's finally coming together. Still quite of bit of pictures and what not to hang, but it feels like the end of this moving process is finally actually in sight.

I speculated on them possibly having traded up to #3 for Wilson at the beginning of the week calling it far fetched, but YIKES if true...

Good call. Porches/decks, yeah I'll build those. Cool. Paver patios? FUG THAT. Especially that one. Having to lug all that filler, sand, and pavers up and down those steps by hand SUCKED. I gave myself turf toe doing that poo. Four years later and my right big toe still ain't right. Definitely made me see turf toe in a whole different light when I used to mock players missing significant time due to it. Nah, fam. I get it now.

Hurney in the 1st was the one thing he did that I always felt comfortable about. The man could land a damn player in the 1st round. He just couldn't do anything else. -
Pay someone to do it. For the love of god, just pay someone. This was the deck/patio I built in CO: One and motherfuging done. Never again.

Ultimately, I think the tea leaves are reading Trey Lance after Shanny's gushing about the read option offense and running QB threat yesterday combined with the rumors that the Niners are likely to hang onto Garappolo for the time being despite multiple potential suitors. Lance is the elite QB prospect who would benefit most from not being forced to play immediately.

If that's true it's hilarious. The look on Shanny's face at Bama's pro day watching Mac Jones miss throws was the look of a man who was basically realizing

This will be my primary hangout. The den downstairs is just one huge open space. That's a 75" TV and I wish I would've splurged and gone bigger. That wall is right at 11'. Ignore the less of cords. There's a wall mounted entertainment center on the way. I hate drop tile ceilings and I'll eventually do something different but that's one of those down the road projects.

Grillin' and grubbin' area. Wood/charcoal fired grill/smoker and Big Green Egg.

I'm sure this is where I'll be watching plenty of games from. Excuse the mess, it's still a bit of a work in progress. There will be a gas fire pit on the far end likely with the four chairs around it. We'll probably do a an outdoor patio couch in front of the TV.

I got some of those limbs trimmed by the flag pole. I'll probably trim some more but I'm gonna need a bigger ladder to reach them. It's taller than it looks. The flag pole is 20', the flags are 3'x5'. Picture taken from the deck.

If we take a QB at #8, I'd expect an open competition in camp.
-
It wouldn't be shocking. Moore and Anderson both are currently only on one year deals. I doubt we pay them both long-term.
-
If it's a smokescreen it's a long one. There were very early reports that we loved Fields. Those have gone quiet until very recently.
-
Always did and still do like the man. Glad the coach is gone though. Wish it would've worked out better.
-
No point in picking up Darnold's until we see whether or not Fields is there at #8. Weird that we drug our feet on Moore's, but whatever. It gets done as expected.

If the Niners aren't moving Garappolo with multiple suitors, that points even stronger toward taking a Trey Lance or Justin Fields instead of Mac Jones IMO. After Shanny's drooling over the read option yesterday and now this talk about Garappolo not being traded despite multiple suitors, I'll honestly be surprised if they pick Jones. Seems like they're interested in keeping Garappolo as a wet nurse and IMO, that points toward Trey Lance. The talk was that they were trying to decide between Lance and Jones and of the major QB prospects, Lance is most in need of a redshirt year.

Fields if he's there, trade down if he's not.
