  1. I think Pitts is a helluva prospect. Probably the most dynamic TE prospect since Vernon Davis. With that said... we need a fuging QB. He'd be a waste if we don't address that. #8 needs to be about a QB. Either drafting one or trading for assets to get a QB next year.
  2. I never cared for Darnold as a draft prospect and nothing has changed my opinion on him so far in the NFL. Maybe he will resurrect his career elsewhere, bit I'd greatly prefer to look draft first.
  3. That's what I had. Never again. Not even for free.
  4. Yep. I agree, Jones is the Subaru pick. I had a Subaru as a company provides vehicle. Simply awful. It's impressive to create a vehicle that is so bad at everything.
  5. Yeah, it wasn't intended as a knock. That's a damn good living.
  6. Maybe someone will take him there but I'm definitely not seeing a lot to work with in terms of a starter. I could definitely see him being one of those 10+ year career backups who have spot starting appearances in the mold of a Derek Anderson.
  7. If we want to run this style of defense we better find us an Earl Thomas type of FS.
  8. This isn't even clever trolling at this point.
  9. It's way too early in the day to be this drunk. You're all over the place.
  10. Great college QB. 100%. Zero argument. Not a great NFL prospect. There's a big difference. You're caught up in your feels because he plays for your favorite college team.
  11. No you weren't. You specifically tried to talk about "measurables". His lack of measurables is why a great college QB is going to end up being a mid-round pick.
  12. Measurables? LOL! Trask has a noodle arm and concrete blocks for feet.
  13. The only way we're getting #4 from a division rivals is if they feel like they're absolutely fleecing us. It would probably take an RG3 type trade.
  14. Drafting Trask earlier than the 4th would be a reach. Trading back into the 1st to draft him probably gets you fired before the 2nd round starts.
  15. Taking a TE in the top 10 and drafting KYLE TRASK with a trade up into the late 1st? I think Fitterer wants to keep his job at least until he can make it to the regular season.
  16. One thing is for sure, you very rarely see a prospect of this caliber as the 3rd QB off the board. If we've identified him as the guy, I'm fine with trading up to get him.
  17. I'm fine with trading up if we've identified a specific target. If we stay at 8 and the "big four" are gone, trade down is by far and away my #1 option with the ultimate goal of getting an additional 1st next year. We're going to be in the same boat again if needing a QB, we'll need all the draft ammo we can get.
  18. If rings are the only standard then you're implying a lot of great players weren't good enough.
  19. If we could get Stafford talent level we'd be trading up for sure. Dude was a former #1 overall pick who has thrown for over 45k yards and nearly 300 TDs and you're implying that would be settling? LOL!
  20. It would be $10M next year. After that Watson is probably either banned or this is all in the past and he's on the field
  21. Taking on that salary? The salary would've been the least of our worries. That trade haul we gave up on the other hand...
  22. I'm tired of getting reports about this thread. If one of the other mods wants to open it back up that's fine but it's done for now.
  23. Deshaun's "game" may have something to do with his current situation. You're off the rails on this one my dude.
  24. In that situation, my far and away best option available would be to trade down and try to pickup an additional 1st next year. We may need it to make a move next year for a QB because guess what, we're basically going to be in the same situation which is the situation of needing a QB. If we can't do that, them yeah, LT or CB would be the best absolute worst fuging case scenarios available to us. Half-ass it for Howell mode in full effect.
