Honestly, if you've made the move to Arch going forward I think you just throw the scoreboard out the window and call your offense like you normally would instead of chasing points. You're probably losing this game no matter what which isn't a huge deal with the expanded 12 team playoff. Don't leave your prized RS freshman out there to just get teed off on. If you haven't made the move to Arch going forward, then put Ewers back out there in the 2nd half.

This is straight up trash QB play on both sides of the ball. Arch needs to be warming up.

I get the route. A quick slant on 3rd and 8 underneath deeper routes? Sure. You just have to be looking in front of the receiver before you throw the ball. Does he have a legit chance? Am I throwing him into a decapitator? In that situation, the answer to the first was "no" and the answer to the second was "yes". Still, as the receiver you can't just pull up and let that ball go whistling through. Easily could've been picked.

What was that throw? Total hospital ball that wasn't gonna have a prayer of getting to the sticks. Receiver made a quality of life decision. LOL

They need to go to Arch.

At least the flag was on a penalty that had a direct impact on the play. Sucks when big plays get called back for penalties away from the ball that had no real impact.
