  1. Honestly, I was wrong. I guess the ultimate loser move is just trolling fanbases with no professed rooting interests.
  2. The ultimate loser move. But yeah, that's Wake and State for ya. LOL
  3. Duke actually has something to cheer about. The other two...eh, not so much. LOL
  4. Been like that all year. Every time we've shot well we've followed it with a game like this. That's what I was saying "uh oh" watching us rain against SDSU.
  5. Glad we didn't suffer the indignity of losing a play in game but I'm glad that college basketball is wrapping up tonight.
  6. We gotta realize we're in a football game on a basketball court because they're just throwing us out of the way to get shots off.
  7. 100% I'm not pounding the table for T-Mac but I also definitely would not oppose drafting him.
  8. He plays like a mid-4.5s guy IMO. I honestly think he projects as a Tee Higgins type and Higgins ran high 4.5s. I think T-Mac is a better prospect coming out of college.
  9. TV Teddy strikes again... https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-basketball/news/march-madness-referee-teddy-valentine-blows-kiss-louisville/19945ff254f52d1d796a42d8
  10. They should ask his wife which day three RB she likes.
  11. Exactly. We've been blowing draft after draft after draft and that shows up in a glaring way when you look at our roster. Just find players. If they turn out to be All Pros, great. But you have to find contributing players in the draft year after year or you're fuged.
  12. Hed take Ashton Jeanty. Marty loved his first round RBs and off the ball LBs.
  13. Yep. While the popular narrative is that there's few elite talents and a big logjam of similarly ranked prospects behind them, the reality will play out a lot differently. It always does. There will be highly drafted busts and there will be some prospects who were overlooked a bit who end up shining in the NFL. Every draft would look a LOT different if it could be redone a year, five years, ten years later. The consistently good teams consistently beat the odds on the draft. Every team is going to have some busts but you have to consistently year after year add quality talent and depth to your roster through the draft. The hard salary cap necessitates it. The draft is by far your best opportunity to add talent at a value.
  14. It would seem like a mismanagement of the draft not to come out of this draft with an EDGE, DT, and RB. We aren't fixing all of our holes in one off-season. What this draft lacks in perceived elite talent it makes up for in depth at quite a few positions groups.
  15. Yep. We knew we wanted to add one, they started flying off the board and we panicked.
  16. On DAY THREE. You know, the throwing darts at the board hoping to land roster caliber players portion of the draft. It's not like anyone is talking about spending a premium pick on RB. What are you hoping to find on day three of the draft? A #1 WR? A star pass rusher? Solid rotational RBs are often found on day three and it would be a good use of a day three pick for us.
  17. Yep. There will be several contributing RBs drafted in day three this year. One of them needs to be in Carolina. I'm not saying they'll be stars or starters but they'll be solid NFL players for years.
  18. Just was hoping we'd save some. Seems like every time we have a hot shooting night we follow it with an outing where we can barely draw iron. LOL
  19. If we're taking a Georgia defender I'd prefer Walker. I have some questions about him as a pure edge kinda like I did with Micah Parsons coming out of Penn State but like Parsons, I think the guy is just a football player. Put him on the field and he'll figure it out. Draft him to play edge and if it doesn't work out then make him a versatile off the ball LB who is an above average blitzer. It's not like we don't have plenty of need at both areas. I watch quite a few UGA games and it's always Walker who is the front seven player in that defense who jumps off the screen.
  20. His "highlights" are horrifying. Like these are the HIGHLIGHTS??? These are his BEST plays? You gotta be kidding me...
  21. The 40 is the single most overrated measurement in football. It's a rarity on a football field that you get to take off and run in a straight line for 40 yards completely unimpeded. Something really good or really bad has happened to create that opportunity. All the 40 is really doing is giving you an indication of a player's long speed. The quick but not fast guys will have good 10 and 20 yard splits but run of the mill 40 times and they'll shine in the three cone and shuttle drills which are honestly a lot more indicative of "football speed" than the 40. Then there's processing speed. That mid-4.6s LB might play "faster" than a 4.5 flat guy because he processes the information on the field faster. He's already getting into step two before the 4.5 guy has started moving.
  22. Well, we got absolutely red hot. Hopefully we can keep it up for six more games. LOL
  23. Bad news... we're on pace for about 50 turnover. Good news... somehow we're still up 4. LOL
