  1. It's a position we've largely neglected to invest in.
  2. I've been begging for a sideline to sideline legit FS forever. Deon Grant was as close as we ever got and we didn't even sign him to a second contract.
  3. I doubt they will. It was the smart play yesterday with the conditions and the Ravens shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers. Keep your pistol holstered if your opponent is using theirs on themselves. LOL
  4. Every injury is still different. Thirty years ago and ACL was the equivalent of an Achilles today in that it was pretty much a guaranteed career derailer. These days it's an assumed six month bump in the road but it still doesn't always work out that way. It's still a significant injury and there's a decent chance a guy isn't going to come back the same from it.
  5. Pretty much. Lamar had two bad turnovers in the first half but played great in the second half. Mark Andrews probably had the worst game of his life. The key factor in both of yesterday's games was that the losing team turned the ball over in bunches. Hard to do that and win in football. Lamar can't be TOO pissed. I mean, he had two of those turnovers himself. It is what it is. Win as a team lose as a team. If you were perfect in your play you wouldn't have been in that situation at the end of the game anyway.
  6. Bingo. The Bills were basically able to win with a conservative, ball control offensive approach because the Ravens were busy beating themselves.
  7. Sucks the game has to end that way. Andrews really screwed the pooch to ight with that fumble then the dropped two pointer. Ouch.
  8. Very first drive of the game was the same story
  9. That might be the best pass protection I've ever seen. Good lord, it felt like Lamar was standing back there 15 seconds
  10. You gotta kick here. Make them need a TD and two pointer.
  11. Turnovers have been the story of today's games.
  12. Definitely looked like Baltimore got away with DPI on that one.
  13. Let's get cute and try to throw for the two point conversions after running at will the entire drive. FAIL
  14. Baltimore OL starting to open up some BIG holes.
  15. That looked like usual Tucker after a season of struggles.
  16. Turnovers are very often the key stat in football.
  17. Key stop by Baltimore there. If they'd given up 7 to go down three scores it would be borderline panic time.
  18. Moose absolutely had a career year but Proehl was 36 at that point and pretty limited. I'd take the Ravens skill position crew over what Jake was working with that year for sure.
  19. Any player is a key injury away from a sudden decline. Guys who play like Cam and Allen and Lamar at a higher risk of it but it can happen to anyone in football.
  20. That was big to go up two scores before half getting the ball after the half. Baltimore could potentially be down three scores the next time they have an opportunity for a legit drive aside from these 16 seconds coming up.
  21. Yeah, not paying Jake as perfect by any means I just think a lot of people act like his success was all because of Smitty. The Tommy John surgery ruined him. It seemed like it effected his accuracy and confidence more than his arm strength IMO.
  22. Don't forget though on Jakes best statistical season Smitty went down week one leaving a rookie Keary Colbert as a starting WR with Mangum at TE and Nick Goings the starting RB.
  23. Glad he got sacked because holy obvious hold. LOL
  24. A lot of game left to play yet
