  1. The Raiders' D is keeping them alive. This game could easily be out of hand already.
  2. If receivers can get away with that defense covering becomes impossible.
  3. The Raiders are really struggling to slow down this Bengals pass rush.
  4. Wow. What a fugin moron. *both Robby and that Raiders kickoff returner
  5. Big stand by the Raiders holding them to a FG after they got it in the redzone off the strip sack. Kinda felt like this game might be about to get away from them but they limited the damage. Felt like the blowout might be starting had the Bengals come out of that one with 7.
  6. This storm is gonna be a big time bust. I learned while living in CO and chasing powder to ignore everyone except the NOAA. They're not a public facing agency. They're not trying to drive viewership or clicks, just trying to get predictions correct. On top of this, pay special attention to final tweaks. If amounts trend up, look out. It's gonna be a banger. If they trend down, it's probably going to bust. The final tweaks are usually not aggressive enough likely due to the bias of having watched the models predict otherwise for the days leading up. Up until this afternoon they were staying pretty consistent with 4-10" or 6-12" nearly all snow predictions for Morganton. They're backpedaling now. Hard. Now they're saying 1-3" of snow and some freezing rain.
  7. He'd probably be more willing to patch things up with the Texans at this point.
  8. Well, the "depending on what happens" ship has probably sailed. Rhule is a failure and he's still here. We're connected to bums at OC. Why would any vet QB with any other NFL option walk into this organization right now? Honest question.
  9. Watson already said no to us once. I can't imagine him saying yes now that we're a far bigger dumpster fire than we were then.
  10. We take an OL in the 1st then trade next year's 1st to take some QB in the 2nd "hoping to get lucky" because fug it we're probably going into our last season before getting fired anyway.
  11. Rhule wants vet reclamation project bandaids and Fitts thinks he can find another Russ Wilson in the 3rd. Either way, we're good and proper fuged.
  12. The best lineman will probably have arms an inch too short for Rhule's flawless analytics.
  13. I don't think you trade down if you're targeting a specific prospect. I think you trade down when there are multiple prospects you have valued equally and you feel certain one will be available where you're trading down to. Either that or you simply thing there's no great value at your draft spot and you feel you'll ultimately get better all value by trading down for additional picks or future picks. This crew ain't gonna be trading for future assets though. They'll be trading the future assets.
  14. Oh look... Dave is still sitting around with his thumb lodged firmly up his ass.
  15. I'd be fine with that being the hottest day of the year I experience, not mid-January.
  16. The forecast has been pretty consistent for 8-12" of snow with minimal ice for Morganton. I hope that holds. fug ice.
  17. That "wide search" may have resulted in a lot of
  18. It may have just been the media throwing out some reasonable options when they really needed to be looking at former grad assistants at Temple and Baylor.
  19. You never know around here. Now granted, Cam's EPA is biased toward scoring much more than a RB's because his designed runs were far more concentrated to short yardage situations (like being down on the goalline) than a RB's.
  20. It means that when Cam runs the ball he's elite in both gaining more yard per rus than expected based on league averages and in a complete league of his own in terms of scoring more points per rush than expected based on league averages.
  21. Reddick is a Temple guy so Rhule probably makes him the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. Realistically, I try to keep both and run a legit straight up 3-4 D. Burns and Reddick both fit better as 3-4 OLBs. As starting DEs you're just too light to stop the run consistently. I think we're closer to fielding a 3-4 front than we are a 4-3.
  22. Pre-Rhule, our cap was setup to be great going into this off-season. Our draft is gutted because of trades made under Rhule. I expect more of the same. Dumb contracts handed out to third tier vets that we over pay out of desperation and more desperate trading of future draft assets for bandaid solutions. If anything, it'll be even worse as these guys feel more pressure to win now to save their jobs. Darker days are ahead I'm afraid.
