  1. Absolutely legendary second half young man. Holy poo.
  2. Holy poo. That young man BALLED THE FUG OUT!!! ELITE EIGHT!!! House money baby!!!
  3. Alright refs, that's 4 fouls on us to their 1. Don't he afraid to blow a whistle over there on the other end.
  4. Down 3 at half. I'll take it. They were red hot there for awhile.
  5. We're missing tough shots and they're making tough shots. That's been the story so far.
  6. Gonna be fun to watch tonight. Feels like we're playing with house money at this point.
  7. This is one of the most completely full of poo posts ever made on this forum. OL? Pitt #36, UNC #102 https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-ranking-all-127-fbs-offensive-lines-through-cfb-week-13 RB? Their RBs combined for roughly the same stats. The big difference was Howell added almost 900 yards and 11 TDs. WR? Pitt had a true sophomore literally win the Biletnikoff Award given to the best WR in college football. He's considered a potential top 10 pick in 2023. UNC had one legit WR who will be a slot only prospect in the NFL and likely a mid-round pick. Howell has produced without Josh Downs. Kenny Pickett never did anything until Addison emerged as the best amateur WR in the world. Gotta love when someone is clueless enough to serve up a post that utterly betrays that they have no clue what they're talking about.
  8. Have him crunch the numbers on 5-12 and get back to me on how that rates in his calculus.
  9. He's decent depth for a good team.
  10. Liked the pick at the time, but this might be bye bye.
  11. "Scott, how far deep into his own bullshit is Matt Rhule?"
  12. Winning on a value chart doesn't matter. It'll matter when we actually start winning on the field.
  13. With #5 on the block I would expect us to call and inquire on that but I doubt we'd have the goal of coming away with #5 AND #7.
  14. Fug you offers tend to get no response or fug you counters. If you offer me $200k for my $300k house I'm either going to simply ignore it or counter you at $400k.
  15. If your old friend called you trying to buy your house for half of it's market value you'd probably be kinda pissed at him for trying to rip you off. Just saying.
  16. You're just not getting #5 and #7 for #6 and next year's 1st. The Giants' GM would get ROASTED for that move and he'd deserve it.
  17. But specifically that trade. #6 and next year's 1st for #5 and #7? That ain't gonna happen. Future draft picks are generally valued as the last pick in the round so next year's 1st has roughly the same value as the #32 overall pick in this year's draft. You definitely couldn't get #5 and #7 for #6 and #32.
  18. Honestly, I agree with that. I think it's just a pretty typical QB class that everyone perceives as weak because it comes the year after a perceived extremely strong QB class.
  19. This definitely makes sense for the Giants though if they're sticking with Jones. The Panthers are showing every signs of taking a QB at #6 so everyone later in the draft knows they probably have to leapfrog us to have their pick of the QBs. That makes #5 pretty appealing. I could definitely see a team like the Falcons jumping on that.
  20. Yeah... no. If I'm Tepper I'm absolutely taking trading next year's 1st off the table for this crew.
  21. Speaking of situations, that's why I'm the odd duck who is actually higher on Howell after this season than I was before. He was in an ideal QB situation before. A perfect WR to highlight his strengths in Brown. A really good underneath receiver in Dazz Newsome who was a 6th round pick last year. Two legit NFL RBs behind him. A good, big possession/red zone target in Beau Corrales. I mean, if you don't look good in that situation you probably just suck. This year, all those guys were gone. One really good receiver emerged in Josh Downs but no one else stepped up and Corrales was injured. Ty Chandler stepped in at RB and did an admirable job but he was still a big step back at RB. The OL just absolutely fell apart. They're the ones who got exposed with all the weapons gone. Meanwhile, Howell showed that he could deal with it. He could get pressured constantly and still stay composed and not get frustrated. Same with receivers not getting open. He showed he could run when he has to. I already knew what he could do in a good situation but he showed me how he could handle a BAD situation. You don't usually get to see both when evaluating a college QB.
  22. There's bias there of course. But I've always tried to be truthful about UNC prospects and not just wear blinders. I told everyone last year that Dyami Brown wasn't nearly as good as the analysts we're going him to be. He was getting potential late 1st round talk. I wasn't surprised in the least when he slipped to the 3rd. That was roughly commensurate with his value IMO. He definitely has skills and field stretching ability, but those hands are wildly inconsistent. I compared him to Ginn. His hands aren't THAT inconsistent, but he's not THAT fast either. Dyami was one of those perfect situation guys. His strength was chasing deep balls and he played in an offense that threw a lot of them and probably had the best deep ball thrower in college football tossing them up.
