    Agreed. I think he's a good backup for Lamar which is still a helluva UDFA pickup. I've just seen people talk about him as if he's a future starter and I don't know about all that.

    Huntley just isn't very good. He's basically a little better version of PJ Walker. He's not a terrible backup option for Lamar Jackson but the folks thinking he's a starter might wanna pump the brakes.

    I have no idea why Smith fell so far. Most draft pundits had him going as early as the 2nd, 4th at the worst. They were better than NFL talent evaluators in this case.

    The Saints and Steelers have to be the top destinations for any good FA QBs. The Broncos would've be a terrible landing spot either depending on what they do with their coaching staff. The Steelers representatives have been lurking all over UNC football this season though and there's only one guy there they should have interest in.

    Steelers force a punt and a good return gives them the ball at midfield trailing 10-6 with 8 minutes to go. This is a meaningful football game but it has not been a good football game.

    I would give Shula credit for helping with Cams initial transition to the NFL, but after that you never really saw further technical progression as a passer. He was just enormously talented even in a league where virtually everyone is enormously physically talented.

    Most teams rest players late in the year because they have playoff seeding wrapped up. We test players because we were eliminated from the playoffs by turkey day.
