  1. Caleb Love is coming back! Strong 2017 vibes! Lost the 206 national championship game on a last second hail Mary three, everyone except Marcus Paige who had ran out of eligibility returned and we won it all in 2017. Next year's team will return every key player minus Brady Manek who has ran out of eligibility.
  2. Sub-250 down pretty much rules out virtually anything rural. The entire time I lived in Evergreen I was dealing with like 20 down and I was less than three miles off I-70 and right off Evergreen Parkway. I wasn't exactly in the boonies.
  3. That's honestly probably the ceiling with Pickett unless you have a great roster and lean really hard on the run. He's the opposite of what you want out of a 1st round QB IMO. If all goes well, his ceiling is probably Tannehill. Now Tannehill is a good QB but that level of QB really puts a lot of pressure on the rest of your roster. If that's a prospect's ceiling I honestly don't think you can draft him in the 1st.
  4. Yeah, I have no desire to graduate from hell to purgatory.
  5. Rivers had better mobility at the end of his career than Strong does currently and Rivers was immobile. That's real talk. Strong has the mobility of Leftwich at Marshall when he was playing on one leg being carried to the next LOS by his OL.
  6. Bigger since he went #1 overall and Manziel went 22nd overall.
  7. Oh lord. We just need to let Howell go to a decent organization and keep that 1st in our back pocket for the next coach to start over with.
  8. Weird. I've been assured by the Huddle that drafting an OT is a no brainer. OL fixed! Superb Owl!
  9. Weird. I was assured by the drafniks that they'd checked that box for the next decade plus when they took Andrew Thomas just a couple of years ago. What happened? Did they not get the memo? Just fix the OL! What can possibly go wrong?
  10. This is like relying on Harry and Lloyd not to fug up the Snowy Owl Benefit.
  11. GJBC knew the score and he was a habitual line stepper. It was Igo who finally pulled the trigger on him once and for all.
  12. You're in here complaining, so yeah. Business as usual.
  13. At some point you have to start swinging. What's the bigger opportunity cost, drafting a bust of a QB with good prospects at other positions available or drafting a good prospect at another position while passing on a legit QB? If you need a QB then QB is always your #1 need and your #2 need almost becomes irrelevant. If we were smarter with how we targeted vet stop gaps we wouldn't be so desperate.
  14. It's always either "there's no QB worth drafting" or "all the QBs will be gone before we pick". According to the Huddle it's never the right time to draft a QB.
  15. That's fine. There's always next year... when it'll be the same story again.
  16. That's fine. There's always next year... when it'll be the same story again.
  17. It's always a gamble. Y'all acting like a LT is a guarantee but just look at all the LT busts over the past two decades
  18. Cool. I thought it would be obvious that "all" didn't mean literally "all" but you do you. But, you're done and you're not mad, right? Do the math. I'll be shocked if it doesn't come out 4:1 D:O in a completely offensively driven league.
  19. Add up the draft pick value of our picks we've spent on offense vs. defense.
  20. Agreed. Put the pick on the auction block and take the highest bidder.
  21. Dude is a monster. I honestly don't see how he isn't a a top 10 lock after testing out as an absolute freak. 3-4 NT, 3 tech, 5 tech. I think he can do it all.
  22. If we make a pick at 6, future picks are getting traded. A dude as trade happy as Fitterer ain't gonna sit on his hands while 131 draft picks get made.
  23. Why would anyone be shocked? Under Rhule we've spent all our draft assets on D while trying to build an O off the NFL's trash heap.
