    We got a 26 year old guy who was 3rd in the NFL in sacks last year and 1st in the NFL in forced fumbles for a prove it contract. I'm still stunned.

    Honestly feel bad for the guy. It makes no sense why he's still there. They suck. He's aging and will age out before they get rebuilt. He's a huge cap hit. They should've shopped him and given him a chance to go to a contender. Basically like the Lions did with Stafford. It would've been in the best interests of both team and player.

    I don't think Shi Smith ever returned punts at SC. Newsome would seem an ideal fill in for Smith while he's out and a better practice squad WR than our current ones once Smith is back.

    I don't think he was frustrated by the question as much as the reporters trying to talk over each other and some idiot wandering Joe Person style in front of the camera. He's a stud. Studs want the ball. Sometimes studs have to be protected from themselves. You're never gonna have a guy worth having asking for less touches. That's just not how these guys are wired.

    We should consider plucking Dazz Newsome off of the Bears' practice squad. Solid punt returner and slot WR. Very similar to Shi Smith actually. I had them graded virtually identically.

    Carter was third on the team in tackles with 5. But yeah, oddly I barely noticed him too. That's fine. He's a JAG. When you don't notice the JAG the JAG is doing his JAG job.

    It was straight trash. Teams are gonna start kicking the laces off the ball at us if we can't threaten any type of return. Don't exactly have to worry about out-kicking your coverage.

    Teddy looked good here early on too. He had five good games, then a bad 6th game, bounced back in week 7, then the wheels fell off week 8. But, the whole time he looked "good" he was also failing to deliver in the clutch. Let's see him in a competitive game once teams have film on him in that system. The truth will reveal itself... again.

    We had a goalline fumble and two misfired passes to open receivers in the end zone. That's not Joe Brady's fault. No one would be complaining if we put up 40 yesterday and that's what we should've had.
