  1. *crickets* That was a lot of barking just to disappear.
  2. Has he ever had Sam Darnold at QB? That'd probably force him to rethink this philosophy. Of course, you can't punt if you turn it over first so... well, maybe not.
  3. Tell ya what. If I can quote 10 instances of you just complaining about other people's posts in the last 24 hours, I permaban you. If I can't, I relinquish being a mod. You want this smoke?
  4. You constantly complain about other poster's having the gall to voice an opinion. Meanwhile, this "more talented roster" just got steamrolled by a one win Giants team missing half it's offense. Don't get mad, man. We're a dumpster fire. It is what it is. We're Panthers fans. We're used to this.
  5. I'd have patience if there were any signs we were heading in the right direction. We're in a tailspin. Meanwhile, you continue to just complain about other posts with every post you make.
  6. I got my daughter into the charter school here in Morganton.
  7. Yeah, I just don't know how Tepper views him. A legit franchise orchestrated or just a guy to hold Rhule's hand and manage the books for him. If the former, then I'm sure he'd stay. If the latter then I'd expect him to follow Rhule out the door.
  8. Is he supposed to catch balls for the receivers? Sam has been missing throws and receivers have been dropping decent throws. I'm not trying to completely absolve Brady of any and all blame, but we could have an absolute prodigy at OC and it wouldn't make much of a difference with the way our players are executing. All the OC can do is out them on position to make a play. At the end of the day the players still have to make the play.
  9. If we railroad Brady after giving him nothing to work with at QB and no OL, we might as well just clean house. It's gonna be hard for Rhule to attract another good OC candidate.
  10. Rhule runs the show. Fitts is just here to provide guidance and handle the paperwork/contracts.
  11. Honestly, this might be best for everyone involved. It's just not working out for Rhule at the NFL level but he built two competitive programs out of schools that aren't traditional powerhouses to say the least. With the clout of Penn State behind him he might be able to build a legit contender. Then the Panthers can start over. Again. The question becomes then does Fitterer stay or go? I haven't seen much to hang my hat on him definitely staying.
  12. No, I wanted to give credit to the original thread starter.
  13. Except that he's still playing at a high level despite this. People are getting distracted right now because the Heels are a massive disappointment. They were a top 10 team that turned out to be very mediocre. But watch the player. The player is still elite. The team overall just wasn't what was expected.
  14. This is the hardest thing about being a pro sports fan. At some point, losing is actually in your best interests due to draft order. At least when you're rooting for a college team you can always root for your team to win. There's no competitive advantage to losing. There is in the NFL if you're not playoffs bound.
  15. It's hard to envision this team winning another game right now. We just got blown out by a previously one win team missing half of it's offense. Now this whole Watson debacle admitting that we're in panic mode at QB? Oh wee mayne. Not sure if Rhule and company will ultimately survive this. Even if they do I'm not sure they SHOULD.
  16. Yep. Stafford had a really good option. Watson is saying that a 1-6 Dolphins team still looks like a better option than us.
  17. Or Watson actually watched our last two games and heard Rhule practically threaten to fire his OC.
  18. Nothing has changed recently about his legal situation since it was reported that Watson would waive his no trade clause for us Everything has changed about the outlook of our organization since then. Connect the dots.
  19. Bingo. We just openly waived the sheer panic flag and now we're not even doing a good job of handling the PR aspect letting him come out that we didn't bow out, we were told no by Watson. Oh wee mayne. I'd say our season spirals out of control from here, but we were already in a tailspin with the ground fast approaching anyway.
  20. You know what looks way worse than trading for someone in Watson's situation? Desperately TRYING to trade for someone in Watson's situation and having him look at your situation and saying, "Yeah, I might be facing 20+ accusations of sexual, but that's still a helluva lot better than suiting up at QB for y'all right now." I'm just laughing to keep from crying. We're a fuging dumpster fire y'all.
  21. He had. Them this season kicked off and it became very clear that this organization is a poo show right now. The OL is trash, the overall offense is entirely broken, and Rhule is making comments indicating that the OC's job might be in jeopardy. I can't blame any QB for looking at this situation and opting out. We might be the worst situation in the entire league for a QB to walk into right now. Well, except for the Bears. So #31.
