The Vikings are good. I know the Colts are mediocre and trending the wrong direction but still when your QB has three turnovers, you have a fumble returned for a TD against you, and your kicker misses two FGs your odds of winning in the NFL have to be damn near zero and they still won comfortably.

You can't pay JAGs like franchise QBs. You can build a roster around a JAG on a rookie contract but if that same guy has a franchise QB cap hit you're cooked.

We aren't getting much for him no matter what.

They're basically stuck trying to figure it out with Lawrence. I didn't buy all the generational talk about Lawrence but I thought he was probably gonna be a borderline top 10 type of NFL QB. The dude is just trash though.

That Trevor Lawrence contract was probably an even more crippling blunder than the trade we made trading for Bryce. Yikes.

Just play him. We aren't going anywhere this season. Dalton isn't the future at his age. Just play the guy you mortgaged the franchise on and let him sink or swim.

You know teams absolutely suck when they have the absolute worst defenses in the league and it's still a struggle fest battle of attrition game. LOL

Just looked at UGA's roster. They have three other QBs on the roster. As expected, all three were top 10 ranked QBs in their draft class. There is no way in hell Carson Beck is their best option with the way he's playing this year.

Kaimon Rucker came back from injury was a big factor. The defense was completely atrocious when he was out.

He's played in 21 games in his career amassing a total of 3400 yards and 13 TDs. We're 2-19 in those games. I mean...

My original statement: Now the goalposts keep getting moved. Now you're talking about a handful of conference championship game QBs. The point is that high level QBs in their prime are extraordinarily rarely available and when they are there are usually extenuating circumstances - injuries, off field issues, etc. You best avenue by far of acquiring a high level long term QB is the draft. Period.

I'm rooting for y'all. I've just seen how these style of teams usually play out. The margin of error is slim.
