This is what we thought before today. Our offense sucks and we aren't even trying to go down the field we're so limited! Well, we tried today and found out why we haven't been doing it previously. It's getting harder and harder to ignore that we only had an effective downfield attack in one game this year.

A lot of those "drops" were poorly placed balls that brought defenders back into play when a better thrown ball would've been an easy catch. You can't call tough contested catches "drops". Our WRs are not good. I'm not defending them. They should be better. But Bryce ain't helping them either and you trade up to draft #1 overall QBs to lift your team up, not to be carried. We drafted Bryce and put these weapons around him because we thought he'd be helping them be better by throwing better places passes and it's not happening. Our WR play is subpar and our QB play is subpar and the result is the worst offense in the NFL. We aren't talking about some UDFA backup here. We're taking about the #1 overall pick.

Steve Smith couldn't have caught those balls Bryce was spraying around today. It is what it is man. It's okay, Bryce is gonna put millions in the bank. He's gonna be fine. Crafting ever shifting narratives to run cover for him online isn't necessary.

I mean, they lost last week when a WR got absolutely club weed inside the five. You rarely see a pass interference call that blatant get missed.

I'm sure he's frustrated about the call. They lost last week because of a blatantly missed pass interference (after getting a gift of a late hit flag). But the guy was in the neutral zone. That ain't on the ref. That's on that dumbass WR who has a long history of crucial errors.

Hell yeah he's pissed. That moron Kadarius Toney cost them the game. That dude might get stomped out in the locker room. I honestly expect him to get cut for that. This is the second game he's cost them. He dropped a TD a couple weeks ago in the closing moments that would've been a game winner. When you're largely a non-factor and cost your team two games in a matter of a few weeks you gotta GTFO.

And just before anyone suggests it when he gets cut tomorrow, hell fuging no to putting in a waiver claim on Kadarius Toney. Definitely one of the worst 1st round WR picks in recent memory.

You can count the number of plays that make you think he might work out on two hands. You can't count the plays every game on two hands that make you think this guy ain't it.

I think he's gonna bust but I'd trade Bryce for him right now with no hesitation. At least Caleb has NFL arm talent.
