I don't pay much attention at all to national sports media but it really does feel like they aren't really getting anywhere near the attention that they should be.

This. I didn't like Levis. At all. I still think he'll make the transition to Darnold 2.0 over time but we'll see. Stroud was much more of a proven commodity
-
True. There could legitimately end up being three QBs out of this class just way better than Bryce. Hell, that D2 UDFA QB from the Bears honestly looked like he had more to work with than our #1 overall pick
-
It's beyond obvious we screwed the lock up. Stroud is already way better and has a way higher upside. The whole selling point on Bryce was his perceived NFL readiness. To make matters worse, if Richardson doesn't end up being made out of glass he looks like he's going to be a lot better too.

Report: Tepper frustated by the offense
LinvilleGorge replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper hasn't exactly been shy about firing people. What has it accomplished? History says he'll just make more bad hires. We're stuck in this cycle until Tepper admits that it's he who needs to be fired. -
There really is. By and large, the college game is simply producing a better, more entertaining product right now.

Protest on Mint Street this Sunday at noon
LinvilleGorge replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
No, I agree. Protesting over a football team losing games is some real first world problems poo. -

What is there to protest? I mean, you protest to create some type of action, right? The Panthers' problem hasn't been inaction The Panthers' problem has been a series of knee jerk reaction bad decisions that have dug us into a massive hole. -
I kinda feel bad for Zappe. He gets thrown in to try to win the game on a two minute drill with everyone knowing full well he's not running any two minute drills in practice as the backup. That was a shitty move by Belichick. Screams of utter desperation. He said that kid up to fail there. Now with that said, he still threw a ball into quadruple coverage. Not excusing that.
-
Oh lord, Zappe throws a terrible pick after a fake spike to seal the L.
-
Belichick benches Mac Jones and goes to Bailey Zappe to run the two minute offense to try to win the game. Mac Jones looks done in NE.
-
Minshew to Downs might have just sealed this thing. What a damn catch from that Tar Heel. This might be controversial, but I think that we should prioritize WRs that can get open and catch footballs.
-
Mac Jones is TRASH. Bro just threw an awful INT trying to throw to a wide ass open TE in the endzone. The dude turns the ball over way too much to offer so little on the positive side of the spectrum. It's not like he's a gun slinger throwing for 300+ and TDs where you realize that'll likely come with some INTs. He's a damn game manager who leads the league in INTs.

That was funny. This ancient ref is standing on the sidelines just getting worn out by the Colts' head coach and he's just like, "Bruh... they're huddled up out there trying to figure out this flag. I didn't throw the flag. Hell, I ain't even part of the conversation. I ain't got a damn clue what they're gonna call. STFU and leave me alone."

It's way worse because of the investment. We overpaid Teddy but other than that we weren't really tied to him as we proved when he was cut after one season and the move didn't tie our hands in the future investing future draft picks. We went ALL IN on Bryce Young and Teddy is starting to look like his ceiling.

Yeah, I'm definitely calling bullshit on this "it grew too big" narrative. -
I think Drake Maye made a strong case for being #1 overall last night. The media talking point all year has been that that Maye might be better within structure but no one can match Williams' wow factor playing playground ball. Well, Drake dug in his bag last night and did an entire season's worth of playground poo in one game.
