This is comical. Yeah, the "physics" do change in that the pocket is usually muddier, the receivers aren't as wide open, and the defenders close a lot faster both in the pass rush and in coverage on the back end. Bryce absolutely did not have one of the best deep balls in college. Go back and look at the actual play again not just star sheets. You'll see punt balls thrown up to wide open receivers making adjustments to go get the ball or stand around and wait for it to get there. Several of us on here pointed all of these things out leading up to the draft but we're laughed off as haters and told that *scoff*, yeah you guys are seeing something that all the football experts out there can't see? Yeah, right. It was all right there if you watched his college play as it translated to the next level. All the red flags we've seen show up were readily visible.

Seems that I remember some people saying Devin Lloyd was trash
LinvilleGorge replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was a disappointing 1st rounder, hence why his option wasn't picked up. That's the was the Jags' opinion who are more familiar with him as an NFL player than any other organization. -
If you had the Ravens being 1-4 and the Chiefs 2-3 with the the Colts and Jags being 4-1 good for y... you're a fuging liar. LOL

LOL

Taking 7 seconds on the return just to get it called back due to holding makes this very tough.
-
Well, I guess it's not over yet with 23 seconds and KC having all three timeouts and only needing a FG to tie.
-
LOLOLOLOL What a poo show of a play that ends up in a game winning TD.
-
They finally don't go on the first hit after "we're good" and they get a delay of game. LOL
-
The Jags are giving away their snap. Trevor Lawrence says "we're good" to let the line know they're set and he's done calling adjustments and then they go on the next sound. There's a reason why they're struggling to protect. All the barking means nothing until he specifically says "we're good" then the next "hut" is the snap every time.

Every iffy call has gone the way of the Chiefs tonight, per usual. They had a TD earlier tonight that looked like obvious offensive pass interference and the flag was throw but picked up.

To be fair, not many 27 year old fourth year players have huge breakout seasons. Most of those guys are who they are at that point. It's surprising when it happens for a reason. -

What we have is ass. What Lloyd was prior to this year was meh. Big difference. -
Uncalled defensive pass interference. WR just got straight up took out.

He's been pretty meh up until this year but yeah he sure is balling out this year. Good for him. -
I wish he would. He fugs up everything else so him trying to make Panthers fans miserable would probably actually work out great for us.

Nice to win, but Tim Weaver of SI has key duds among the studs
LinvilleGorge replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a weird gripe to list a guy as a dud in large part because in your eyes he didn't throw a big enough fit on the sidelines over a bad call. A fit that would've changed absolutely nothing. -
Yeah, Darnold is basically a really high level game manager. Put him on a good team where he isn't required to provide lift and he can shine. But when you need him to do the franchise QB thing and put the team in his back here comes the INTs. He just doesn't seem to have any positions on his dial between "super conservative take whatever's there and take care of the ball" and "YOLO!!! There's a receiver down there somewhere in that sea of defenders!"

It used to be funny when the Bryce stans would show up every time we manage to not lose a game and act like he did something. Now it just feels sad and pathetic. Imagine your QB digging your team a 17-0 hole with his turnovers then your backup RB going ham and having a career day with 200+ yards and nearly 10 yards per touch then having the nerve to show up and spike the football and act like little Bryce won a game. LOL We have to win despite Bryce not because of him. That's why the vast majority of us want him replaced.

Seems about par for the course IMO. The Panthers have seemed to try to run off fans ever since Tepper started getting spurned by the fanbase because he ruined the team and the Roaring Riot has always been pretty cringe. So, yeah. Basically played out exactly as expected.

Did the Panthers get Mike McDaniel fired now?
LinvilleGorge replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Every time we win a game somebody's head has to roll and honestly, the DC who let a backup RB run for 200+ yards and nearly 10ypc wouldn't feel like an overreaction. -
Baker balling. Darnold balling. Maye balling. All guys who could easily be our current QB. But nooooooo... we have a super processor PG mentality little person. LOL
-
Yeah, nobody making it to 5-0 is pretty crazy. Every top team has some obvious flaws. Buffalo's defense is struggling, especially against the run. KC has no offensive weapons. Philly can't pass. The Ravens plain suck. Pretty wild. I wouldn't be comfortable picking a SB favorite from either conference right now. If it continues like this the playoffs are gonna be very interesting. It'll feel like just about everyone in the field has a legit chance.
-
Oh, and whose family had Panthers PSLs when he was growing up. LOL
-
Rookie kicker for the win from 53 and it was right down the middle and above the uprights. That would've been good from 70. Beastly kick
-
Maye's passing chart is gonna be crazy. So many sideline dots.
