  1. I don't know, but I really like seeing Mitchell Evans out there making plays. In run and pass game.
  2. Let's not forget he is on an absolutely STACKED d line. Good for Burns, but you can't say he would be putting up these numbers here.
  3. I agree. It would look better with the alternate logo that is just the eyes/whiskers/teeth outline.
  4. Right. It had Moehrig as the Nickel.
  5. No. That was year 4. Yr 1 didn't play (1 game). Year 2-3 not great. Again, barely over 3K passing yards and more int than TD. Year 4 was his breakout year, followed by an ok year 5 where the Chargers were willing to let him walk. He was not the Hall of Famer in SD that he became in NO. That is all I'm saying.
  6. It is 100% not out of the question. Brees in year 1-3 in SD is very different than even years 4-5 in SD. Barely broke 3k yards. More picks than TDs. Did not look good early on. For those old enough to remember, the chargers were ready to move on at QB even with better play in years 4-5.
  7. You can't think of 75 for Rico like a 75 on a test. 75 is a good PFF score. He was the highest ranking running back last week for RBs with at least 15 carries. Check out the 12:30 time stamp: https://youtu.be/Urq1j3byBes?si=_HoZbqKNM36KsyFf
  8. I would guess we don't see any firings during the year. Pepper's trying to clean up his image a bit, and to your point, who's going to replace him? It's not like we have a future DC sitting in the wings just waiting for a chance.
  9. Those of you saying sell, are just naive to how business works. There is zero chance he's going to sell this team because of the performance on the field or any boycott. Even if we were to lose every game going forward his return on investment goes up every single year. I do believe him when he says he wants to win. The reality is who wouldn't if they owned a team. At least he's not an owner who's not willing to invest back in the team, which you can't say about all the other owners. He was too Hands-On in the early stages, and has changed over time. I take that as a huge win.
  10. What exactly do you all want him to do right now?
  11. I said it in the around the NFL thread, but I will repeat it here. For Baltimore, MLB Trenton Simpson has seen his snap counts dwindle to a handful of plays the last two weeks. He seems to have fallen out of favor being replaced by the new rookie. No idea what it would cost, but I hope Dan is at least reaching out to gauge interest in moving him. Don't want to spend the boat on him, but if he can be had for cheap he would be a great injection of potential at the LB level.
  12. For Baltimore, Trenton Simpson took a backseat to the rookie LB for the second week in a row. I hope Dan's calling up there right now to probe about his availability.
  13. He got beat and held the DT. It happens. Overall I thought he played pretty well.
  14. Hate to see injuries for anyone. I'm looking forward to what Zavala or BC can do. For getting thrown in last week, I thought Zavala did pretty ok overall. He will be interesting to see if they go with him or BC on the RG spot. The reality is BC can fill in all the spots, might make more sense to leave him as the 6th OL and let Chandler get the reps.
  15. He was not perfect, but far better than some on this board want to make out. That 1st INT is more on XL than BY, and I will die on that hill. He needs to come back to the QB on that drag and not just run down the line. That is WR 101.
  16. That 1000% was on XL. Receivers are taught in high school on drags to come back to the QB. You cannot just run down the line and not expect the DB to jump the route.
  17. Not great. Nowhere in the above post did I say he was perfect, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as some folks claim here. Again, we were in another situation where zero time was in the play clock when he got to the line of scrimmage.
  18. I finally was able to watch the broadcast, I was at the game so it was hard to see some of the finer points. In the moment I was very frustrated with the offense. After watching the broadcast, I feel much better about Bryce overall. He can only hit your receivers in the hand so many times. He is putting the ball where it needs to go. Renfrow had multiple balls dropped. JT had a beautiful sideline pass off his hands. XL needs to get his feet down. That first interception is 100% on XL. He needs to work his way back to the QB on that drag. The defender should not have a chance to undercut that ball. Corbett needs to get his poo together. It's unacceptable for these snaps to not be hitting BY in the chest. BY saved some terrible snaps. The kid can scoot too. Glides for 1st downs when he breaks containment. I'm just bummed as anyone we lost week one, but I don't think the sky is falling like some folks here. I saw a lot on the rewatch that I liked. TMac, he's going to be something special.
  19. At the game, watching Coach Bates running on the sidelines is great. Total hype man!
