Much deserved love (video) for Robert Hunt. My fav player
ChuckWag78 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have been waiting for my next panthers jersey. Hunt may be it. -
Do we attempt to extend Diontae this season?
ChuckWag78 replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
My Hope is he grows attached to the area and the program. I want HIM to want to be here, bought I to our scheme. Would love to keep him based on what I have seen, but don't want to spend 35M+ per year to do it. -

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win
ChuckWag78 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I re-watched the game today, and the TEs stood out more positively to me than during the original broadcast. They both were solo blocking DLs at times and holding their own. -
I know there were not a lot of catches, but our TE group was blocking their asses off on Sunday. I'm half way through a rewatch and both Tremble and Sanders have shown very effective blocking. I'm not saying they're pancaking their guy every time, or just complete road graders, but they are consistently in good position to wall off defenders. A handful of times they even took on DEs one-on-one with success. I didn't even mean to specifically watch the TEs, but the they were popping out on the second viewing. Both run and pass block. Great showing from the TEs in my book. This is only going to open up stuff down the field even more.

I'm with you, next years FA look rough. I think we need to look at potential 2026 FA we could trade a later round pick for this year. I have always liked Davis Mills. Big, strong QB that looked serviceable on the bad HOU teams. he has some experience under his belt, I would love to see what Canales could do with him.

Yep. My hope for Bryce is finally done. I don't want him to play another down for this team. I think I was one of the last few still holding out hope, but that is absolutely crushed now.

It would mean a lot to me if the Panthers won this week

Sorry for your loss. This was a beautiful post. Fingers double crossed for you on Sunday. -
Who are You Drafting with the #1 Pick of 2025???
ChuckWag78 replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dead on, just looking at box score you would think great things. His throws were all over the place last year. Non-existent accuracy at time. Cam Ward is the latest QB for folks to look at just one game (Florida) and crown him. He was a turnover machine last year and Florida is good awful this year. That being said, that was last year, and there's still a lot of football to play. I'm excited to see what both of these kids can do this year. But let's at least wait until December to start crowning any of them the top QB prospects. -
S Fowler ‘not sure Young will ever work out’

Watching Richardson, Levis and of course Stroud today makes this even worse for me. Esit: not so much Levis. Got carried away typing. -

I want NOTHING to do with Sanders. He is going to be an absolute headache for whoever drafts him. https://twitter.com/UnnecRoughness/status/1832789350850945267?t=aYwShPEiMPR1Sv5XreheoQ&s=19 -
I am actually excited to see the all 22 to see the overall scheme. Something to look forward to at least. Today was rough. Seemed every other game was relatively close today, and of course we get totally blown out.

I thought I had seen Sanders switch to number 0, but didn't see it pop up anywhere else. LOVE the switch! Pumped for this kid.

He asked out if his deal? Can't remember PS player ever doing that before.

Panthers Week 1 & Season Predictions - A Thread
ChuckWag78 replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Week 1 we are going to kick NO teeth in and win 31-13. Bryce puts up 300+ yards & 2 TD. Chuba has 100 yards rushing w 1 TD with 6 catches for 30 more yards and a 2nd TD. Just let me have this thought until game time. -
JT still has it out for 19!

2. Mesh to 19 fails. Sit to 17 isn't open either. Look at Diontae and Bryce break at the exact same time. Off-script connection hits for a big gain. No one could win on broken plays last season My favorite part about this play, is after the play breaks down and Diontae and XL are breaking for the sidelines, watch Diontae gradually work back towards Bryce. XL at best is flat, but is more drifting away from him. This is going to be a great learning moment for XL. A wide receiver has to work back towards his QB in that scenario.

I would just boot it out of the back of the end zone every time. Just start at the 30 with zero chance of a return. There's effectively zero difference between starting at the 25 versus the 30. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk of a return.
