  1. What has anyone on the team shown? It's not just Young that's playing like ass.
  2. You have summed the situation up perfectly. You are not alone in feeling this way.
  3. I don't think we have a choice. It doesn't appear to be fixing itself anytime soon and bitching about it doesn't seem to help. It either gets better or it implodes from within. I'm watching either way because I love a good disaster movie.
  4. Giving up your best offensive weapons to trade for a qb was the mistake. If you're going to go all in for a rookie you better have plenty of help for him. The FO chose to keep an overrated defensive player that could have been a much better trade and let the rookie try to do it all. They do everything ass backwards.
  5. Tepper needs to kiss Kevin Colberts ass and do whatever he wants to get him in here asap. He should have done that as soon as Kevin was available.
  6. Who knows? There were a lot of rumors floating around at the time. I thought Reich tried to hire the qb coach from the eagles as OC? That's how I remember it anyway.
  7. I can relate to everything you've said @Mr. Scot. My experiences on the forum have brought me to the realization that the Huddle is no longer a place for me. As a fellow long standing member here I want to thank you personally for all the contributions you have made to this joint over the many years we have been here together. The bs you've had to deal with by others here is unwarranted and ridiculous. So i do not blame you for leaving. I am spending a lot less time here for largely the same reasons. I'm one foot out the door myself. And I'm sorry to hear about the health issues you and your significant other is having. I hope all those things clear themselves up for the better. Keep Pounding my friend.
  8. That's not what was rumored. It was posted on here somewhere right after the interviews.
  9. Wilks wanted to hire Frank as OC.
  10. I'm not saying they were forced to. I'm implying that Frank had to be convinced. From where I sit it wasn't always a conscious who the pick was going to be. Frank was the last one to get on board. If he had any convictions otherwise he ultimately chose who he chose and will love or die by it.
  11. This is true. He had a hard on for Young long before the trade up.
  12. I'm not sure if everyone else is ready for them to open the playbook. Bryce is not the only person that has to have full grasp of it. Whatever the issue is they better figure it because the staff in Huston sure has.
  13. He could if they limited his running.
  14. You were not alone in the trade up decision. I too didn't think this team was in the position to waste picks on one player. They were and still are not one player away.
  15. He ended up with the worst team in the league after all. I feel for the kid and I hope he can forget all of that because you cannot change it. The league is an unforgiving beast that chews up promising players and spits them out annually. The odds were always against him making it in the nfl. Unfortunately his team cannot help him pull out a win on his own as they are reminiscent of a high-school squad.
  16. He's not worth what he's getting paid right now. None of them are. But in his case he is massively overrated and demanding far more compensation than what he brings to the field. I'm looking at you Fitterer.
  17. They have the 1st overall pick right now. On top of that they will still have their top 5 pick, mostly likely the 2nd pick. As thigs stand right now I cannot see any way we do not finish dead last in the standings.
  18. At this rate they have it locked up.
  19. Are the still people who pay to read that rag? Fascinating.
  20. If you recall Frank was the last member of the council to give his vote. Everyone had made it known in one way or another who they preferred. Just something to ponder about the situation we find ourselves in.
  21. Are we sure the owner didn't influence the GM to make those moves? The owner has his hands all over this. He also writes the checks and if you want to keep getting one I would say that you should probably listen. It's hard to separate one from the other at this point.
  22. There's only so much a coach can do with a player. The product on the field reflects 80-90% the players talent and the rest is a result from coaching.
  23. If he is it would be short-sighted. He didn't draft or sign the players he's coaching, just saying.
