I think you will have to let this year's group play out the season before you can compare and contrast between the two groups.

It not good to have been associated with Rhule. The purge continues.

If you give Bryce the slightest amout of time he will pick a defense apart. That's his MO. Protect him and good things will happen. It's that simple.

All I know is that the combination of Rhule and Marty sucked. Rhule and Fitterer sucked together. So the common denominator is Rhule and we all know Rhule sucked and so did Marty. The jury is still out on Fitterer. He's been hit or miss so far since he's gotten here. The ony season I really can't give him blame or credit for was his first season with Rhule. After that, only Tepper knows how much control either really had and he's not talking. So either way we are where we are and all that matters is what they ALL do going forward.

I'll leave the glory for the team to earn.

Everyone is going to look ugly in the 1st game this season. It's been that way every since the league went to 3 preseason game's. I'm like you, can't imagine what it will be like with only 2 to evaluate your team. It will be around game 5 before you really know what your team is made of.

I'm sure now that they have gotten a good look at the starters and the depth they've had to adjust quite a bit. The depth is little to nothing to speak of and there's nothing on the street that's going to change that. It will be duct tape and bailing wire to hold it together if injuries set in until the seasons over.

He fits right in...until he doesn't. Just goes to show how fast one can lose his job in the nfl. It's step up or move on under this new regime.

I think Corall, Smith, Jenson and McCall make it. I predict Erving is cut along with Jordan.

That doesn't change what he wanted to see. Just because the players didn't execute the plays the way they were supposed to do doesn't change what the goal was. Unless you think it was part of the play design to screw it up? If you hadn't noticed everyone is making mistakes. Even the coaches. It's a work in progress.

If there is they are an adoration. I remember when journalists were unbiased and sought out the truth and did honest investigation into their reporting. Apparently journalism school has dropped that part of the curriculum from their degree requirements.

And I don't know why. He's told everyone and anyone who would listen exactly what he was going to do in these games. Yet they are shocked and dismayed that he actually does it.

But it's about the clicks! There's no journalism anymore. It's all hot takes and opinion pieces.

It's a good possibility they do start out slow. There's just too many things that have to come together before they can truly compete. The sooner it starts clicking the better you will be able to determine the true talent on this team. I just don't think it's deep enough and skilled enough in key areas to be able to compete right away. They could surprise us all and come out firing on all cylinders. I just can't see it though because there's just too much turnover to be in a rhythm right out of the gate.
