Whole lot of Deshaun Watson chatter happening out there
Jon Snow replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Put it this way, the only time I will watch a game is if I have nothing else to do and the game on has the Panthers playing someone. That someone is who I will actively cheer for, if I even watch the game at all. -

I'm getting livid at the thought of it. Anyone advocating for this I pray you don't have daughters. If you are OK with this then you are no better a human being than the man who committed the assaults. That is not the type of person or team I can follow and cheer for. -

Nope. It is hypocritical of the league to allow this. A sexual predator is always one and much more so if they have money to get away with it. No sir, I'm out if that is the type of owner we have.- 447 replies

Not I. I would actively cheer against the Panthers. I hope the fans boo Tepper and Deshaun out of the stadium.- 447 replies

Jonathan Alexander int’v on Fox Sports Upstate
Jon Snow replied to ellis's topic in Carolina Panthers
That would be a first. -
The draft doesn't make any sense based on the way they handled the lineup all season. Like you said it was all luxury picks mostly. They sure as hell did go by need and apparently not by bpa either.
-
I fear that pattern will not change next season either.
-
I'm not knocking him for the injury. We have not seen enough to proclaim his selection to be anything other than that, a first round pick whose value is yet to be determined.
-
One starter who missed 75% of the season doesn't strike me as a very good draft. Marty pulled that off with his eyes closed. They contributed some which is a welcome change but I wouldn't be betting on them working out.
-
We already have our qb. He was taken with our second round pick that's about to go down. They even paid him like a gazillion dollars to audition last season. Outside of his worthless ass it's take one in next draft or bust, again.
-
It's a no win situation. There is no upside to this.
-
They might know more but they suck at applying that knowledge. It's so bad that most on here predict the outcome of their decisions better than those guys.
-
It's what you call winning (try to) at all costs. Integrity and compassion be damned. The game it too important. But let's say that all the allegations weren't true for the unethical crowd. How can you justify putting everything you can scrape up for a guy to be the face of the franchise that didn't have enough awareness and self control to put himself in a situation like this the begin with. Beyond stupid and embarrassing that the team I devoted my time cheering for since inception has stooped to such lows.

Are the Broncos following the Rams formula?
Jon Snow replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
A lot of teams try but few can pull it off. If you dont have most of your money tied up in mediocre players that is. You have to have enough young quality players that you've drafted to allow you to go out and get a few hired guns to make a run. The problem is you cannot sustain that approach as evident by who regularly makes it to the bowl. I wouldn't bet on the Rams repeating what they did last season. It just doesn't happen in this era. But that doesn't stop every team from trying to find that formula. Most are happy to get just one chance and that's what they build for. The easiest route, well relatively speaking, to get a shot is to go all in like most do when they think they are close. The problem is you have to be a well built team in a short amount of time or have been building for years to pull it off. Very few have the patience or the stomach to do what it takes to build a solid team that is a regular contender. It seems our owner is one of them. -
It is a colossal mistake. I just can't find the words to adequately express how disappointed and disgusted I would be in this franchise. It is beyond ironic and hypocritical for this owner and the league to allow this trade to go down.

Stop posting this nightmare in every thread asshole. My soul is crushed enough just by the meir thought of this actually happening.
-
Wish we could get one of those.
-
Gut punch if it's true.
-
He's too old for a rebuild. Let him name a successor and throw him a retirement party.
-
Give Rhule time and we will take that title. We are 1000% on our way you just can't see it.
-
He needs to.
-
I wish I had you optimism. But nothing I've seen so far leads me to believe that the current iteration of decision makers have what it takes to build a contender at this level. But I would love nothing more than to be wrong.
-
Please let it be the commodes. I don't want to have give up on this team.
