  1. The comp pick is dependent on how many FA you sign and their contract value. You cannot count on that unless you play for it and not sign anyone other than scrubs with cheap contracts. Even then it counts against you as it may turn into a 7th round pick or none at all.
  2. Hell make your own sign and put it in your yard. If enough people do that it will get attention.
  3. They find as many players as they can that fits what the coaches are looking for. The coaches and GM sort them out and set their board.
  4. If someone offers even a 2nd you take it and never look back. No way in hell they are getting a 1st for him. It's going to be a 4th at best.
  5. Fantasy football is ruining the way some of y'all think.
  6. None of that's fine. It influences the coaches decisions. That's what Dan is for.
  7. I look at it as accelerating his exit from them. Tepper has to accept that Young cannot play in this league and the only way that happens is to throw his narrow ass back out there for a couple of games and watch him fail yet again. Not my rules it's Teppers.
  8. It is directly involving himself in the daily activities of the coaches. If he were having a meeting with the managers of each department, of which Canales is not, I might agree. He can meet with Dan all he likes outside of football decisions. But at no time should he be discussing anything related to the football coaching or player related issues with anyone other than Dan Morgan.
  9. I hate to tell you this but it's not the fans that run the team. You are wasting your breath on fans. David Tepper is the Ringmaster of this circus and all we can do is watch. Whether you buy a ticket or peep under the tent it's still his circus and you are just an observer.
  10. The only way he signs with the worst team in the league is if he is in it for money and we pay him the most. If he wants to be on a better team with a better qb so he can win and make even more bank while also getting recognition then he's out of here as soon as he can.
  11. I'd like to know if he still having his Monday morning meetings. If he is he's still involved.
  12. If they don't play him again this season and let him embarrass Tepper enough to throw in the towel you will see Young on the roster next season and we start this circle jerk all over again. I would rather get it over with as soon as possible.
  13. If that's what it takes to end this experiment once and for all then I'm all for it. Send his ass out there and tell him to cut it lose. Make Tepper eat that humiliation until he cannot take it anymore. He owns this.
  14. We don't have to pull for him to fail. He's already failed at everything he's touched since he bought the team. I'm actually hoping he does something right for once. What a dumb question.
  15. Sounds like a different way of saying if the offer is enough we'll listen.
  16. I doubt they stay status quo on qb. Of course it will come down to who's available and at what cost. It's impossible for me to believe the Young will get another shot here. It would be another exercise in futility that I don't think anyone wants to see again. There will some sort of competition brought in. Whether its a journeyman vet or a shot at a draft pick is yet to be seen. Dalton may or may not want to resign here if he has any other options.
  17. You are assuming there's going to be a qb rated that high. What little I've seen of the names being thrown around I'm not so sure there's a 1st rounder among them let alone in the top 5. Maybe that will change as the college season plays out but right now there's no amount of hype going to make them top picks they way i see it.
  18. It's been many years since those names were on a Panthers uniform. That's not several years and they had nothing to do with the Tepper era.
  19. I never did. His first year was a wait a see for me. But the trades and turning down the Burns deal sealed it for me. He was complete ass.
  20. I do not know what Canales will ever be if anything. I'm not counting on a young Vince Lombardi here. Hell I settle for him being simply creative enough to but a good offense for now. I still think he's in over his head with this team and will probably flame out as fast a Rhule did. The only thing that will save him with Tepper is building a team to win some games. If he doesn't do that fast enough it's next man, or woman (Tepper will try anything) up.
  21. True and I had missed that. I still say that's not enough to call him some qb guru. I call it coincidence if anything. And let me reiterate that's it's not because he didn't "fix" Young. Young is what he is. No one can fix that.
  22. No, it's because he's had little to no actual experience at turning a qb around. It more attributing his contributions to something that he really had little to no impact on. 2 qbs he spent 1 year each with doesn't make him a qb whisper. Fans created that myth because they thought he would have the same impact with Young. It doesn't work that way. To be a "whisper" it would take many more years of work that he just doesn't have. So no, he's not some qb whisper and I wish that myth would die.
  23. I think it's what fans, media and possibly Tepper thought he was because other qbs he was around had good seasons and assumed he was here to fix Bryce. Nevermind that he wasn't their qb coach during their turnaround. The only time he had a direct effect on an offense is in Tampa as an OC for 1 season. Somehow that translates in a qb whisperer. How, I do not know.
