  1. He's not going to be Fox ball. It will be modern-day running game. Steve Wilks was Fox ball. I would think it would lean more towards a Shanahan style than a Fox staple. He's so green it's hard to know who's playbook he will pull from.
  2. He's laying low somewhere praying Young becomes the next Russell Wilson, just like he knew he would be. Had to be the only reason he had a boner for him.
  3. The flaw in Hurney's team building plan was to not keep draft a RB before it was time to pay that second contract. He seemed to do that with every position but LB. Oys was as if he hit on a player he paid them regardless of position and said I'm good until the wheels fell off. He hit on 3 or 4 in a row and wanted to pay them all. Doofus could have let each one walk and kept drafting them. He had a knack for it for a while. Granted they were 1st rounders mostly. I think Deshaun might have been in the second. Davis was a FA but still, the goober could pick a winner with RB's.
  4. I thought it was a bad contract at the time and it looks even worse now.
  5. To be honest I think beyond the injuries there is concern he has peaked as a LB. He is great as is but coupled with the ware and tear he already has on his body I can see why a lot of teams didn't want to risk a high pick on him. I do not fault anyone either way.
  6. Also true. But Miles biggest problem is that he cannot see the hole when there is one. I'm not the only person that's saw that. I hope he does a 180 so the rookie doesn't have to be rush into the lineup. But if he still cannot find the hole in a donut then it's time to cut our losses.
  7. My hate? I was referring to Sanders the RB. Me thinks you've misjudged the situation.
  8. I hope so. But just don't see it. It would be nice if Dan could pull it off.
  9. I don't think Sanders has the value you think he does. Right now I wouldn't trade a bag of chips for his services. Fitterer was an idiot for giving him that contract. He's the number 2 RB in this crappy team and he's paid like a number 1. I hope he's cut the 1st chance they get.
  10. First of all let's see if we are even picking in the top 5 before we predict what positions it may be. Unless they are predicting a trade for the 1st overall pick. If that's the case then I doubt Tepper has the stomach for that anytime soon.
  11. I'm excited for any receiver that can take someone's spot in the wr room. Same goes for any other room in the building. I'm that desperate for anything positive.
  12. Wallace is good at covering the TE and RB. Coverage is not a problem for him. The other one I couldn't tell you. But the rest is mostly accurate to a degree.
  13. Apparently this draft wasn't loaded with edge help. I think I heard that after the 1st round the pickings were slim and would need a lot of development. Whether that is true or not I couldn't say.
  14. Those guards are great pass blockers also. I'm with you on the running game. They need to get the running game going to open up the passing game.
  15. Unfortunately I think they may keep Ian 1 more season. I personally wouldn't, but they may need him for the run game. At least that would be the only reason to keep him if there really is one.
  16. There were more than a few comments on nfl network that eluded to this being a bad draft to need edge help.
  17. I don't think so. I would bet he plays some this season. He will be a full time starter by the end of the season if not sooner. Who's his competition? His only limit is how fast he can absorb the playbook.
