    Good illustration. I tried to fight the tank crowd earlier this week and got poo on. Obviously you laid it out better than me. No team in the NFL is playing to lose on purpose. If you are #1 in the draft your team earned it by being the worst team in the league….aka you have a longer way to go to be competitive.

    Take it. He’s good but not a game changer. We can either keep those picks or package them in a different deal later. This team needs as much flexibility as they can get right now.

    One of the ways that certain fans signal their virtue is to pretend that they don’t watch and follow the team. They have to post here after each game to remind us that they don’t waste their precious time with the franchise anymore yet they are still here. Makes sense doesn’t it?

    You guys act like QBs never throw a pick 6. PJ made enough plays to win the game which is all anyone an hope for at this point. It also makes him a capable backup with a higher ceiling that we thought.

    It’s very clear to me that Rhule micro managed every element of this team. If we sucked at a particular phase or in a certain situation, it’s 95% certain to be because of him and not the coach, player, water boy etc who appeared to fug up.

    100% of coaches would have played for a 35 yard field goal there. That’s an easy decision. Our kicker just sucks.

    Look at our two backup QBs. Both top 5 picks. Not to mention your graphic doesn’t differentiate between top picks on their original team or whether they were acquired in free agency and then won with the second team.

    I didn’t miss poo. We have looked a lot better without Rhule. A rookie QB will need 3 seasons to really be any good if they are good at all and it’s more likely than not that they are a bust. I’m not cheering for losses because they don’t guarantee anything. This team can win now with good coaching and upgrades in a few positions.

    There’s no guarantee that a top 5 QB will be any good. Odds are actually against it. How’s Trevor Lawrence doing? Teams that are always picking top 5 pretty much suck.

    I don’t understand this. The team is close to being competitive with competent NFL coaching. Why not win and build a better culture and trust the front office to figure out QB.

    We haven’t even really come close to stopping Atlanta in like 3 quarters. I don’t have high hopes here.

    I didn’t even know Demeire Byrd was still in the league. That’s exactly the kind of shitty former player that comes back to bite us in the ass. Dude couldn’t even stay healthy for more than a game or two but of course he’s out there now.

    Can we please stop with this? Darnold had a chance and he sucks too. We just need to roll with PJ and see what happens. If he throws 3 picks in the second half then give someone else a shot. But darnold isn’t the answer.

    I’m just glad we fired Rhule when we did. If he had fuged up and won one of these last two games there’s no way Tepper would have fired him being a game out of the playoffs. Worse yet if he made the playoffs at 7-10 or something he would have gotten probably two more years.
