  1. Any speculations about Fitterer and who might be cut that could upgrade the backup QB spot? Hunches? Curious, weird feelings? Predictions? (Get the idea?) Or Do you think we stay put and ride the wave on the hopes that our OL keeps Darnold upright?
  2. I still think 10 wins is going to happen.
  3. Yeah--neck out on Horn, but the rest are solid. I would love to see Christensen grab a starting spot and play well--if that happens, he (oddly enough) could be core by the end of 2022 or so.
  4. Nothing against keeping my teammates healthy and assuring that I am available on Sundays, but I am not doing it. Sorry, but getting the shot is not just about you---I wish fans could decide who gets their money--break it down by player. "OK, my $200 ticket goes to Chinn (10%), CMC (13%).... That would change things, it would.
  5. Darnold will be as good as the OL---we know he can put the ball where it needs to be when it needs to be there. And he, unlike Teddy, does not refer to deep passes as "Par threes." Just needs time. So watch Christensen's development--I think it could be key. If Horn becomes the shut down corner he can be, and Marshall becomes a star (LSU WRs do well in the NFL), and Darnold becomes the #3 overall pick talent he is, Fitterer gets my vote for GM of the year. What comes after "Contributor?" I am blazing a path to glory.
  6. If we have 3 stud WRs lining up with CMC in the backfield, Arnold at TE, who stops that?
  7. It was the "and such" in this thread title that pulled me in. What could that mean?
  8. So my friends and I decided to choreograph our unbridled emotions following the Hornets first round during our routine workout.
  9. Lefty that seems to move left when possible.
  10. I see Thor in that role as well. He seems a bit awkward, but will grow into his body. Been watching video all night trying to catch up.
  11. That is what they are saying on twitter. Not yet 19, shot blocker.
  12. How good is Melo's brother? If he is added to the mix, what does that mean? (Not immediately--I get that, but say by 2022-23?
  13. Guys, I do not really follow the NBA, so I am learning from you. Here is how I see the trade: This was a loaded draft, and a year from now, a player at #19 is likely not to be as good as this guy--who was ranked #11 on the big board I was using (Bouknight was #7, fwiw). Considering that this draft is being compared to the 1984, 1996 etc drafts, you have to assume the value is there. I do not see the down side. Jones needs a year, so basically they have a "free year" to groom him for the NBA. Assume he entered the draft in 2022--where would he go? Top 8? Probably. Sorta how I think of it. I will shut up now and learn.
  14. Probably--I never was a scout. AU is a flawed human being. We are working with him, however, to make him like us. Totally destroyed.
  15. And before anyone bashes any professional athlete you should track your own athletic career and attempt to discover when you transitioned from prospect to critic.
  16. Newton and his glow booger. Proud Papa.
  17. Not, 'The Corps' you bunch of Jarheads. Who is the core? Sure, you can make a list of the best players, but the core has to consider cap. So you basically have about 3-4 players on each side of the ball. The rest are fluid. So I will attempt this without cheating, and if you disagree, you are not a real Panther fan. To increase the level of difficulty, I will do this anticipating 2021-2024 and rank players in order. I will base this on what we know, not what we hope. OFFENSE 1. CMC, RB 2. DJ Moore, WR 3. Moton, RT DEFENSE 1. Burns, DE 2. Chinn, S, LB 3. Brown DT 4. Horn, CB* While Horn has yet to take a snap, he has all the makings and the bloodline to be elite, so I am going to go ahead and put him here. If you disagree, you shall be shunned. Names to watch: Darnold, QB Marshall, WR DID YOU KNOW?: 2 of the Panthers' top players on the "Core" list had fathers who played WR in the NFL, but these 2? Remember, I have EXPLORER status.
  18. By the way, is my badge a light bulb or a large woman bending over from behind. "Explorer" could apply to both.
  19. I talked to KB after an OTA--very nice, very immature, and he does not come off as someone who is very smart. I liked him, but I work with young adults for a living and sensed that he would be a bit difficult to supervise--just a hunch at the time.
  20. It did--a Safety no less.
  21. You were 5 9 before getting compacted? I was 5'2" when I was born. True Story
