Milton's camp--agents. -
I think Schefty went from "Milton is finalizing a deal with Carolina" to "there is some competition, but I think he will end up in Carolina" that is a weakening of his position.

I am watching ESPN and focused on Schefty--he is on his phone--the one person who is not int he know at the table is talking 85% of the time--I know she is covering for them, but this is nothing more that interpreting texts from agents at this point. If we don't get Milton, it could be a good thing--I am OK either way--the thing I fear the most is letting Arizona bid us up.

I have shifted to Brown from LA, but I would be happy with Milton.

FOr those who think free agency is bad, The Eagles spent $275 m in free agency last year. For the past 5 years, every team that spent the most in free agency won 3 or more games the following year. Jacksonville, a few years ago, won 6 more games. Not to say these stats are long-term improvement, but probably more like a cortisone shot.

wow. big contract. I have a son of a friend who is a Falcon OL--I get the feeling that they were happy to part with him in the locker room for some reason. I might be confusing him with someone else, but I do not think so.
