In the guys defense, it’s hard to control where your feet are when you’re trying to barrel through 300lb linemen and chase a guy much faster than you while you’re losing your balance.

I will take it all back the day I see a pass of 40+ air yards. We couldn’t even throw a Hail Mary from midfield at halftime a few weeks ago. Matter of fact we have never attempted it with him.

He only needs to learn run plays and Play Action all go’s

Maybe Evero can fool somebody into hiring him this year so we can get two 3rd round picks. I will say though, he has improved so I will give him credit there.

Vrabel was probably always the guy though. He was just in Tennessee still, and then teams were interested in Mayo before BB left and they did that whole successor thing in his contract to keep him there. Atleast that’s my guess.

Pretty clear that Hooker was just brought in to run scout team for weeks we faced a similar style QB. Otherwise White wouldn’t have been here 24 hours after Bryce got hurt. Dudes not even a development project just a mobile chess piece.

Should have traded him to the Rams. I really don’t miss him. Was super overrated, would get a sack in the first quarter and disappear the rest of the game until he missed a key tackle in the 2nd half. I wonder how much of his success this year is due to teams having to account for Abdul Carter, Kayvon Thibideaux, and Dexter Lawrence as well.

I do enjoy how Canales kept downplaying it and acting like Bryce might play and is day-to-day. Even a Grade I takes a couple weeks to get over. He’s obviously trying to make the Bills review film on 2 different QBs. Meanwhile you are adding a 2nd QB to your practice squad on a Monday night like nobody will notice.

I know one thing. I would have Horn active this week. If he gets behind the defense Andy will get that ball down there.

I think if we were 2-5 right now and finished 6-11 then that would be more understandable. But at this point.. 4-3 entering week 8. They have to at least finish 7-10 or it’s going to look like they fell apart. Finishing 7-10 still means we go 3-7 down the stretch.

Yes. Morgan and Canales are too far in to tank. They have to show progression. And to finish 5-12 or 6-11 after starting 4-3 will almost certainly get them fired. Hooker gives you very little chance to win.

I’ve said that AJ Espenesa would be a great fit here. He was drafted when Morgan was DPP there and has been a consistent 6 sack per year guy as a back up. But he has to play behind Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau so he isn’t utilized much. He’s 27 and 6’6” 260 and would easily start for us. We could probably land him for a 3rd or 4th rounder.

McDermott is actually 8-0 after bye weeks. Guess he’s due one

To the last part. Evero sucks at generating pressure unless he’s going up against a beat up OL like the Jets. However.. he does do a good job of having the DL/LBs contain. Hes even mentioned that’s part of the reason that they struggle to rush the QBs because he doesn’t want guys moving out of containment.

Imagine being a 37 year old QB who doesn’t play much injury away from facing the Bills/McDermott after sitting on your couch the last weekend

I think it will be close. Won’t be a blow out. Their pass defense is Top 3 but their rush defense is the worst other than the Cowboys. If Canales will feed Rico and use that to set up Dalton on deep play actions we can move the ball. Defensively, I’m not worried about Cook. We just have to keep Allen contained. The only person I think can do that is Moehrig, if he can give him the old Thomas Davis/Mike Vick treatment. This is probably a 28-23 or 31-27 type game either way.

This is what we had to choose from. White isn’t on the list because he was on the Bengals PS at the time. I probably would have gotten Heinicke or Wolford

Canales trying to act like there is a chance of him playing this week to make the Bills plan for Dalton and Bryce. He’s going to change up some plays this week. Run, run, run, and play action deep pass. Bryce probably sits this week and next week at Green Bay and comes back against New Orleans or Atlanta

I thought we had a guy for that. White is not athletic. He’s a better Jack Plummer. Tall, statue like, big arm
