  1. As much as I like Hubbard, he has never cracked the Top 15. Dowdle has cracked the Top 6 in back to back weeks.
  2. Which is weird because he was a pretty good coordinator for Indy
  3. I think we have allowed like 60 rush yards in the last two games combined. The Jets had 82 yards of total offense today
  4. Hunter Renfrow is Ricky Proehl. Not lighting up the stats sheet but always around at the right time.
  5. Everything on defense changed when Rozeboom and Wallace switched spots. Idk if Rozeboom is deaf and can’t hear the call or Wallace is football smart. Either way, I think something happened there.
  6. The way PFF does their grades gives you a general idea on a player but it doesn’t tell the whole story. If somebody is consistently in the 50s or so they suck. If there is a one-off high or low it can be easily skewed.
  7. I wonder how much of it had to do with the hiring of Eric Eager as VP of Analytics. He came in May 2024 after Free Agency and the Draft but was a part of the last draft and Free Agency. For those that don’t remember, Eager was a Senior Data Analyst and VP of Research and Development at PFF. After that he was a VP with SumerSports where he had a big hand in creating NFL AI focused around roster optimization.
  8. Not sure but the last few weeks they have been doing what Rhule and Snow used to do. Rhule ran a 3-3-5 but would show different fronts: 3-4, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2 Big Nickel, etc. It looks like they have been showing 4-4 and 4-2BN packages since Atlanta. Wash ran a 3-4/4-3 hybrid when he was the with Jags, so imagine he’s doing something similar on the front 7.
  9. I don’t know that it will be a rookie. Every year there are normally 1-2 above average vets on the market in FA. I think everyone has rookie fatigue with Bryce the last few years and Canales and Morgan will need results quickly. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went that route. Somebody like how Darnold has been the last few seasons. Now who that will be this year remains to be seen.
  10. Panthers have had 8 turnovers this year. 4 interceptions (Bryce) 3 lost fumbles (Bryce) 1 muffed punt return (Etienne)
  11. I just think he’s a below average QB that isn’t good enough to start in the NFL. Some people genuinely despise him as a person/, leader, etc.
  12. Sir, this is The Huddle. We are always wrong, take zero accountability and remember none of it. All you have done here is created a new thread that will eventually evolve into the subject of Bryce Young or Tepper being a bad owner.
  13. Only concerns I’ve had with TMAC is there have been a few plays here and there where I felt like he could have done a little more to finish the catch or extend. But he’s probably just trying not to shatter on that concrete grass at BOA. XL on the other hand has real Laviska Shenault vibes
  14. When I get time I’ll go back and pull his game by game stats going back to 2023. There is literally zero improvement. None. It’s the same player under Reich as now. He is permanently locked into this 1 TD, 1INT, 1 Fumb, 160ish yards, 5ypa average in perpetuity. Literally right now his YPA is the same as 2023 which is 5.5. I think he finished last year with 6.4 which is still horrendous.
  15. If he doesn’t poo his pants and drop the ball like a terrified worm or throw a horrible ball across the middle a few plays later that is intercepted. He doesn’t have to make those “clutch” throws at the end of the game. Should have beat the dolphins by 2 TDs but instead the whole team was helping him clean his own mess up. He’s the reason we lost to Arizona. Everyone praised his 2nd half but failed to realize all of his turnovers that got us behind in the first place. So yeah, if he had not poo the bed in the first quarter, we wouldn’t have been reliant on those throws because we would have been running the clock out the entire 4th quarter.
  16. Where is this Tepper’s fault? Did he come down and tear down the sign and piss on it? He probably had zero clue it happened and some random stadium worker was trying to be difficult for whatever reason. I doubt he even knows the name of the stadium worker. Bad owner, yes. But y’all give him too much credit for all these different ways he’s impacting the franchise, I highly doubt he is that clever to find a new way everyday to torment fans. He’s barely been around from what I can tell since the end of 2023. Y’all have got to stop turning him into the bogeyman, like he’s pacing backing in forth in his office in BOA thinking of new ways to torture the fair weather fans of the Carolina Panthers night and day. He is just not a very good owner.
  17. I don’t know where you have been but we have been garbage for going on a decade now. We rock bottomed in 2023 and last year clawed back up to 5 wins. This year maybe 1 or 2 more. Going for the big season when you’re a 5 win team is how we got in this mess. It’s going to take time and little things like this along the way are good things. Literally everything has improved from 23 to 24 to 25. Evero’s defense is in the top half in all categories, we are top half of league in rushing yards, the only thing that hasn’t gotten better is the passing game and my guess is that gets resolved at the end of the season if not before. Yeah we did show improvement, the team from the last 5-7 years would have quit and lost that game Sunday.
  18. These people get paid to watch no football and have complete stupid write-ups. I have been Evero’s biggest critic since he came here and yesterday was one of his best games. 19 yards rushing? Dave actually committed to the run, and that’s bad? Dud#1- Bryce Young because any average QB wouldn’t turn the ball over at the mere sight of a defender and we probably would have won the game by 2 TDs without his dumbass turnovers. Dud#2-Tim Weaver for writing such a shitty article.
