What are yalls thoughts on Tenn/OSU? I'm leaning towards Tenn on the spread.

I try to tell people Tepper isn't the worst owner. Bottom 5, yes. But not the worst. Probably like: 5-The McCaskeys 4-David Tepper 3-Jimmy Haslam 2-Woody Johnson 1-Mark Davis

I really would love to pick up Josh Sweat in FA. Give me a 4 man front of Clowney, Brown, Graham, and Sweat.

3-4 do well when you have great edge rushers and and awesome NT in the middle. A 4-3 defense is better at hiding your weaknesses, especially in the run game.

Don't go down the rabbit hole of Matt Moore not injuring his shoulder in 2010. I'll do it anyway... If Moore never injures his shoulder, the Panthers win just enough games to go down a couple of spots in the draft and miss Cam Newton.

I like him and all but I really think Mason Graham or trade down is the call this year.

1) Comparing Moton to Ickey is an insult to Moton. 2) Ickey is slow for a LT and a lot of scouts had him pegged as a Guard during the combine. 3) You can't just "pay talent" -the salary cap exists.

To be fair, Mayfield was playing way out of scheme in 2022. Darnold played out of scheme with Joe Brady in 2021, but he did well with McAdoo in 2022 after Baker struggled. That was really just Rhule and Fitterer shoving square pegs in round holes. Bryce has now looked like ass in 2-3 different offenses.

Brown but Horn is the best active player yes.

I went back 20 years just to reflect, here it is. Something happened around that red line. I can't remember what, but I feel like it changed the franchise.

When Wilks took over as HC he promoted Al Holcomb to DC. Holcomb struggled and Wilks had to babysit him. We also only had like 3 position coaches on the whole team. With Ben McAdoo pretty much doing everything on Offense. Wilks took over as DC in 2017 after McDermott took the Buffalo job. Defense finished 7th I think that year. For what it's worth his Defense in San Francisco finished 3rd last year and Shanahan still fired him.

Love Cam but Allen is the better QB.

Thats why I support the Journeyman and Day 2 QB combo. You can build your team until you have your guy. And who knows, one of those could turn out to your guy in the process.
