  1. Yeah if he can just focus on the front seven for defense like he did the OL last year, it will be huge.
  2. I really thought Mayfield was going to be the guy here, and had he fit into McAdoo's system then it may have worked out differently. He would have done great in Joe Brady's offense.
  3. We should do the White/Silver more often. So much nicer than the White/Black combo.
  4. After this last offseason, I'm confident Morgan will be okay in Free Agency. I'm iffy on the draft, but at minimum if he's like Hurney and nails the 1st rounder we will be fine. Canales needs to be finalizing Evero's termination paperwork right now.
  5. which depending on the talent drop is might not be a bad idea.
  6. I had Richardson ranked below Levis, which might actually turn out to be accurate.
  7. He wasn't even happy the night they interviewed him at his house like right after it was announced lol.
  8. Calling it now, they are going to be the ones to land Ben Johnson.
  9. I believe the reports that he wanted Derek Carr and BPA in the draft.
  10. Fitterer was the main problem. Reich's heart just wasn't in it anymore. I don't think Tepper ever like Frank. Even during his first press conference, Tepper pronounced his name wrong and was uninterested. The media reported that it was a committee made up of himself, Scott, and other that hired Frank. I personally think Scott just did not want Wilks for whatever reason. With Canales it was just Tepper, Morgan, and the outside firm that the 49ers and Eagles used which is promising.
  11. Why you got to hate on Tim Biakabutuka like that
  12. For what it's worth we drafted Derrick Brown at 7
  13. Announcers praising Atlanta for everything. 2 yard run by Robinson ”wow did you see that run”
  14. Was anyone around for the game in the 90s when the Falcons went to kneel on the ball at the end of the game and fumbled it and Kasay kicked the game winner?
  15. I think I remember this. Was a weird game in general. I also remember when Weinke came in one year. He threw the ball like 15 times or something and we won. I had a $500 bet that the Panthers would win that game before I realized who was starting. Never have I ever been glued to a TV like that.
  16. I am/have been very critical of Young. I understand that it is in the Panthers best interest for him to succeed. However, I also realize that wanting and reality are two different things. I hope Bryce does well on Sunday. I think the Panthers have GOT to bring in some type of competition. Bryce has been handled to softly and it wasn't until he thought he was benched indefinitely that he got his bullshit together. Bring in real competition, and let him fight for it. If he can beat it, I'll be behind him 100%.
  17. My family had Christmas Dinner this night because some of them were in town. I can remember watching the first half from sitting in the dining room staring into the den. Only older Panthers fans remember the tension from this game. I remember feeling like the game lasted 6 hours.
  18. Like many of you I have followed the Panthers for a long time. I was a PSL owner for nearly a decade and can count on one hand how many Panthers games I have missed watching. When you follow a team this closely, they become tethered in your lives and your worst/best memories. What are some of your most memorable Panthers/Falcons moments? I will share some of mine. 2003- Carolina @ Atlanta I was in high school. Michael Vick was coming back from injury and it was Sunday night football in Atlanta. My grandfather had been very ill and was confined to his bed at this point. He had never been a Panthers fan or football fan in general. I spent Sunday/Sunday nights with him while he was sick to give my other family members a break from his caretaking. That season, he had went from not caring what was on TV to hooping and hollering about the Panthers. That night though sticks out to me. I had actually fallen asleep before him, and he woke me up to tell me it was going into OT. I still remember the oxygen mask around his face as he stared directly at the TV. The Panthers lost the game, but I felt like he and I had actually bonded around something. He died the night after we beat the Rams in the Playoffs that season and he never got to see them in the SuperBowl, but that season will always be special to me beyond the fact that we made it to the Super Bowl that year. 2014- Carolina @ Atlanta The other was the 2014 season in Atlanta. We won the game to go to the post season that year. That night was one of the worst of my life. I sat in the ER after my father had a heart attack. I remember just seeing it up on the screen in the corner of the room and while I sat with Dad in silence, I watched the game to keep my mind busy. My Dad passed about 3am but that game sticks out in my mind as one that was special for more than one reason. I felt like my Dad and I shared that game in that small hospital room.
  19. I would rather go Mason Graham in the 1st. However I think a good 2nd/3rd round DE option would be: Landon Jackson- Arkansas 6'7" 280lbs 6.5 sacks and one FF this season OR Kyle Kennard- South Carolina 6'5" 254lbs 11.5 sacks this season
  20. When you start getting into depth in Day 2 and Day 3 yeah. Not a ton of high end talent at the top.
  21. You pick up the option either way. If he's wanting Top 5 money he can go pound sand long term though.
  22. We haven't had a big bruising back in a while. Would love to see that. I like Mullings.
  23. He's ranked as the top Edge in a weak Edge draft. He's not going to be dynamic like Bosa, Watt, Garrett, Parsons, etc. Honestly, he reminds me of Burns. I would even argue that Mykel Williams will be better in the long term. I wouldn't spend a Top 10 pick on Carter.
