Looks like they are also giving younger guys a shot which is fantastic honestly. You see a lot of teams go with the Boomer Buddies. I really love the idea of what they said with trying to have a "start up mentality" and since I work in Software Engineering I know exactly what they mean and we have that same process in place. We'd rather hire someone who is a culture fit over an impressive resume with an unimpressive attitude. This does lead to hiring less experienced people but if they pass all the 4 interviews you know they will be the type of person who can be taught up and learn along the way. It's much harder to teach someone to not be a douchebag/asshole/sexual harasser/etc.

That is actually funny. Ultimately though JRs side won/will win as 17 games is going to happen and then 18 later on. The players need a bigger roster and another Bye week. Matter of fact they need another bye week now anyway. They also need to up the active roster by at least 3 players IMO to have the specialists not take up valuable backup O/D line spots.

He is usually slated as the 5th best QB and 5 QBs probably will go so you're probably right. The second will have guys like Trask, Newman, Mond, Mills, etc. Don't know enough about those to say if we should get them in the second and pick the LT at 8. Something tells me this FO wants a bigger/better name than those but we'll see.

Yea that's true and a good point but who the fug is Josh Rosen. Tua is a National Champion in the best league in CFB and has much more talent and potential than that random guy from UCLA. He was also a top 10 pick I said top 5!!!!!!!! But seriously that's a good take though, you pick Kyler Murray over some Josh Rosen 8 days out of 7.

Yea that whole "for two games Cam looked good" is literally dunking on his on point/side of the argument. I find that fascinating really. He looked good for 4 games for us before the shoulder gave out....what next year it'll be 1? I don't' think i've ever seen such head in the sand over a player.

It is a serious possibility that they think Tua is actually going to be good. Who knows maybe they have a competent staff who can actually develop people. I mean we've had much worse than: 1800 yards 11TDs and 5 INT in 10 games at QB. Rookies don't usually Cam Newton the joint.

Not only that but the Panthers are a clear cut example of 1st rounders being overrated in a team dynamic alone. We hit on all of our first round picks, some of which are going into the HoF(Luke) or would have been a HoFer(Cam) and look how we turned out. 1st round picks cannot get it done alone and no team in the current era is getting it done without a QB. Those old but but but the Ravens and Tampa retorts are irrelevant anymore as that was a different NFL than todays NFL.

Yea some people take time to develop obviously and I like what I hear from Rhule and Co. They clearly coach and want to coach and develop players. I feel like so many players with potential are just cast out if they dont' produce literally right away and don't even get the coaching or development that any professional needs.

I will never not take a shot at Rivera but honestly it was Cams dive that hurt his shoulder in the first place. Cam never should have dove to try to stop a TD pick 6 that was going to score no matter what. I also posted a video showing that it was also Kelvin Jawalrus Benjamin that didn't go for the ball and walked off the field instead of making the tackle he could have made which led to Cam diving and hurting his shoulder. We could blame Cam for diving for no reason or KB but the rest of his injuries were surmountable. 10:18 mark

He wouldn't. IF Cam was healthy he'd still be our franchise QB and on his way to the HoF. Rivera Riveraed him and that is literally the end of the discussion in regards to Cam. It's that simple.

A lot of people read articles and just take that poo as is without even trying to hear what is actually being said. A "here are my(some random ass media person) 4 locations for X player" Then they take that as the player themselves actually wanting to go somewhere. Really not a surprise considering the complete misses to your basic queries on here. He set up a scenario and asked a question? That means he believes it!
