Team friendly doesn't mean they won't get paid. IF Jordan thinks he's finally got something here he can pay guys. 4th seed was a possibility just this year. Next year having played together longer they could be a contender. This is lighting in a bottle, they were supposed to collapse without all those key starters yet they still have enough to keep winning. It's time we started trying to keep "stars" here and building teams like this one instead of being the forever 8th seed. It has to start now. Maybe Mitch can pull it off.

I hope Mitch can appeal to Terry and Devonte and Malik to sign team friendly deals to remain Hornets. I'd like to see everybody come back now that we know what we are. Had they prepared to take the east, knowing what they know now, they could have challenged for it. They need to try to stay together at least another season or two. "Give me 30 days!"

All the talk about LaMelo, deservedly so, but Miles Bridges, what he COULD be in the future as a star in the NBA smh. We have an embarrassment of riches due to wise prudent management. Miles is a big part of that, PJ too. They put the work in so sky is the limit. Being a day one Hornets fan, this is the most interesting squad ever for a couple of great reasons. Go Hornets!

That's why it's more important, since this is organic and rare, that as an organization, they commit to keeping this core together. They'll fight for each other, you start picking them apart, it'll be every man for himself come contract time.

They all give maximum effort, not just that but they refuse to go down no matter what obstacles gets thrown in their way. Magnificent! You can't put that HEART in a copy machine and it can't be bought. It's organic.

Pie because all opinions should be valued. Im not a fan of the front office, I was until they mishandled Greg then Cam, but seeing what Fitterer can do before I totally give up hope. -

Everybody talks as if trading back in a fluid situation like the draft is a given, or trading up. You need a trade partner in both situations. If you can't agree, then no trade. Smoke. They're going to use every pick. Pick wisely. -
MILES BRIDGES is that dude! Imagine these Hornets at full strength. Keep everybody! Resign/Extend everybody. Kody and Biz too. Vernon Carey Jr just dropped 21 on the Nets! Deep! Deep roster folks. THIS is what it looks like to finally have a GM! You da man Mitch! Carey and Richards are just the bigs we've been asking for. Next season.....Watch Out!

Panthers 2020 Offensive Line Ranked 18th of 32
rippadonn replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
Because they're always picking first or somewhere around there, they fall for the hype too often. Teams traditionally in the back of the draft have to do their homework. -
The city always kicks out. Now if ONLY Tepper could get us a MLB team. Charlotte is ready for baseball. That beautiful knight's stadium could be a start. Maybe Tepper could buy the White Sox. Most of Chicago (born Cub fans like me) wouldn't care anyways. I'd care more for the Sox if they were in Uptown Charlotte. That's just me.

This year Mitch, Jordan both admit they had no idea Lamelo would be this far ahead and he has a very robust squad, aside from the injuries this year, he's joined, scorers, all of them. I think Mitch, now knowing they are a playoff contender, now knowing that all his starters well into the bench can each put up 20 and that he may have a Jordan/Kobe type of guard in Melo, can add a piece or two to compete for it all next year. This year to the Hornets will be a blessing in disguise. Like I've said, Mitch can sell this team to present players close to re-up. Terry might stay. Zeller and Biz might want to stay for reasonable coin. Mitch can sell this team to key free agents in a way he couldn't before. You may even see Jordan touch the luxury cap if he believes this is it. This is the squad, this is the time.
-
I'd keep this team together. The two young bigs will have a year of conditioning under their belts. Zeller is underrated. He's been playing very well. I think guys will contractually want to stay together. This off-season may be a good time for Mitch to extend some guys. These Hornets are more of a family than I've ever seen. LaMelo, Gordon came in and fit immediately. The future is bright. I heard the Hornets were a league pass darling. The court, the uniforms, the mascot, the marketing, smh, gotta give Jordan props.

You've always dreamed in your dreams of dunking on somebody just like THAT.
