Thank you. Tell the rest of America that. The best person for the job indeed.

Baker had a perfect QB rating in the 4th quarter

.695 NFL win percentage!!!! Is anyone better? Anyone? -
The huddle said he was the second coming of Drew Brees and Jake Delhomme.
-
He's not a technician, not a student of the game, just a guy getting by not driven to be the best him he could be because moxy and trash talk worked just good enough to Fake it. Four years in. He is who he is, just like Sam.

Well, who did that? Three other guys were here longer. YOU Matt Rhule are to blame.

Faker. Fhules Gold. Until he does better in the first three quarters, he ain't nothing like what they're advertising. Cam didn't get this much slurping and he actually deserved some.

They left out the rest of the game. Media Baker Bro for sure. Baker ran!!! Baker threw!!! Baker,Baker,Baker -
Baker Mayfield in a nutshell. ONE good quarter with a bunch of crap before that. Not impressed by one good quarter of football. If that was Cam that fact would've been pointed out but instead people are on the dudes nuts completely, underservedly.

Baker is a four year veteran. Fields is not. Baker should not be making the same mistakes.

If Matt Rhule is here to waste ANOTHER first round pick...
-
I don't see Matt Corral getting a fair shot with Rhule in the building and with a new coach who will absolutely have a top ten pick it's even more daunting. If Fitts and Tepper are men of their word then Corral is safe and even if they pick a first rounder at QB next draft(which I'm in favor of since Rhule f'd up Corrals evaluation period and we will have no idea what kind of pick he'll be until next year) the QB1 job won't be a lock for him. I think the kid is a fighter a straight up bully, aggressive, accurate. I'm rooting for him on this now up hill battle to start.
-
As bad as our O line looked yesterday how good do you think the third stringers in front of Corral were. Probably terrible and probably not the best way to evaluate a guy to start. That was never the intention. He didn't get a chance to audition with the second or first team lines. If most of the time you've got a lineman on skates being pushed all the way back to the QB chances are few and far in between. Matt Rhule didn't want the kid to play even before he got into the building the focus was always on Baker,Baker,Baker and Sam and PJ all of whom got the bulk of reps. All that to say, I think your not judging him fairly because we never got to see him with players of equal talent. The guys playing in front of him and at WR are selling cars at the Infinity dealership.

Same coach, exact same strategy, to expect a different result is insane.
-
The boo birds were out in force you could clearly hear that yesterday. Community support for Rhule is almost zero. Tepper would be well respected by everyone including Rhule who would go away skipping happily away with a fortune. He's probably been expecting the ax. Where are the brass balls NOW? Oh, prosthetic brass balls on a desk aren't as tough as real balls huh?
-
They can't see that and call others delusional.
-
That's what we're talking about when we say there is a book on Baker and Sam and DCs often share info with buddies or the next team up is going to crowd the pocket and put hands up. This coaching staff isn't good at defeating other teams game plans so until they can overcome the box being stacked and hands up in throwing lanes, the results will be the same or worse for Baker. I'll go back and look but I can't remember seeing Baker shift into throwing lanes like Russell and Drew were so good at. He's already four years in, and hasn't been the best study so I can't anticipate him improving his game all of a sudden.

Baker Could Be our “Brees”
rippadonn replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Delhomme was an unknown commodity riding the bench. Baker is moving fast into first round bust status. Two different trajectories. Delhomme has 64 wins and a .590 win percentage. Answer is no. Jake>>>>>>>>>>>Baker -
