They also may still have interest in trading for Deshaun if his legal issues clear up, as a backup plan, so I’ll hold off judgement until I see how everything pans out

I think you have to wait til day 2 before considering it, depending on who’s at 8, because if a guy like fields etc are sitting there at 8, it’s going to be hard passing on him or even passing on what teams would offer to move up. defense needs some attention too

Because the benching you speak of were because the game was out of reach, the only game you could say he was benched for performance is the 49ers. as another poster pointed out 50% of the ints came in the two games after covid. switch teddy in that pats offense and you think they are better ? Matt Ryan ? Matt Stafford these are just a few guys who had significantly better offensive talent yet didn’t win more games than cam last year. So are we focused on stats or winning ?

He played poorly with talent only 5 qbs in the league could make serviceable, point out his flaws sure but being lazy saying his arm is done or he kept throwing dirt balls when he had a 66% completion rate is asinine
