  1. I think that’s the thing. Having to answer the same BS questions week after week when we all know it’s not going to be a real answer, it’ll be coach speak, and truly it’s a waste of everybody’s time. He’s become jaded much quicker than Ron I guess lol
  2. I’ve honestly had the same thoughts. He looks beat down. He’s only one year into like a 7 year contract so I hope he’s okay. I know the NFL is hard, but damn. I’m probably overthinking it though. I had more fun there than I did at any other concert, including bands I actually like haha. The people were great and the atmosphere was awesome. Just people vibing and having a good time.
  3. I went to two of his concerts with the love of my life and had such a good time. I don’t care much about his music, but everyone was so chill and it was really fun. Also got hammered, so yeah. Good times.
  4. Fitterer always sounds so nervous when he’s answering questions when I’ve listened to him. It’s kind of endearing. I like our FA period for the most part so keep making those moves, bro. Public speaking can be intimidating.
  5. He looks hungover lol. But I agree, he’s looked increasingly rough as time has gone on. It’s a hard ass job.
  6. I got shades of the “fake smile” take by Nawrocki about Cam. Someone with an axe to grind for whatever reason.
  7. Felt personal to me, too. Like he was cucked by Trey Lance on his anniversary or something. Lance has his flaws, but arm strength is not one of them. I still think Lance will be a beast.
  8. Smitty was a whole different level of player. He was “small,” but pound for pound he was the best WR in all of football. You can’t really compare these new guys to that, it’s just unfair to them haha. No one will compare to 89.
  9. Beane has been a godsend for Bills, and McDermott has been great as well. We’re literally a fodder team for Buffalo, Washington Football Team, and the Giants. The fact that we had both McD and Beane on staff and let them go is painful. McDermott seems like a better version of Ron.
  10. Very sad. I can’t think of another team that lets player talent (Norman, Bradberry, etc) and administrative talent (Beane) walk out the door like we do.
  11. Robby looks like a stick out there but he’s listed at 190. Crazy how little some of these guys weigh. I’m intrigued how their build will hold up.
  12. I like that. I don’t follow soccer at all so I didn’t realize that. Seems like an unspoken, unofficial way to respect the previous ballers and let people know you expect great things from yourself. I do find it interesting that I don’t think anyone has taken 89 since Smith left. It’ll probably be the same for 59 and 1. Whoever gets those will have high expectations.
  13. Hurney magic, baby! I don’t know why he wasn’t banned from the war room during the second round. I’ve never seen someone whiff on so many second rounders
  14. I think retiring numbers should only be done rarely, like Jerry Rice or Tom Brady. Truly GOATs at their position and not only franchise legends, but legends to the sport. It’s a respect thing. I like the number change. I don’t “love” it, but I think it’s cool. Gonna be seeing a lot more WR with those single digits. Admittedly I love WR numbers in the 80s and it seems like they’ve been going more into the teens lately, but at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter.
  15. Basically this... Greg Little has been bad. Very bad. Plus the concussion/injury history and it’s not looking great. We’re already thin on the OL and counting on Little to improve and actually be good is wishful thinking.
  16. I would be shocked. I’m not buying into the Mac Jones at 3 circlejerk, it’ll either be Fields or Lance imo. I think they’ll take Fields, but if not, there’s no way he’s there at our pick. Somebody will trade up for him if he slips past San Fran.
  17. Yeah, if Sewell is there we have to take him. I think Slater will be there, it just depends on how the staff views him. If Sewell is there and we trade back, I will strongly disagree and shake my head in angst. That’ll show em. OL or bust
  18. Titans fans are still sore about the horrendous act of Cam dabbing on them in 2015
  19. Same. Love the signing and overall happy with FA so far. The biggest question mark to me is releasing Kerr, he played well last year and was really cheap. I don’t get why he was cut. I guess this makes up for it, but it would’ve been nice to have both. We’ve addressed basically every need except for maybe safety. OT in round 1, baby!
  20. I’m imaging Sam showing up to camp extremely overweight. Struggling to breathe, biscuits falling out of his pockets as he drops back to pass and Gatorade bottles full of sweet tea. Keep him away from Bojangles
  21. If he tried playing TE he’d be like Ian Thomas with better receiving ability. For a big boy he sure played soft. I do feel bad for KB, though. After his mom passed it seems like he lashed out at his friends and alienated everybody. Him and Cam seemed to be tight until then. A sad story.
  22. We’re extremely thin at CB depth so this could be really good for us, depending on the money. I’m hoping for OT at 8 at this point. Our team is shaping up. I’m gonna give Darnold the benefit of the doubt and say having an actual QB coach and competent weapons will make us a pretty decent team this season if we can get Bouye for cheap and draft Sewell/Slater. Of course, we could still go 0-17. This sport is weird that way
  23. He was great with the Texans and pretty good with the Jags for a year or two. I don’t think he was very good last year (was traded to Denver) and also was suspended for PED’s. He’ll be 30 when the season starts. I’d like it if it’s a cheap, short deal. Big money, though? I’m not sure about that.
  24. “They gave up two first round picks” Edit:to me, “giving up” means total loss. I guess that’s where the difference is
